Overall great car.
My Chevrolet Prizm has lasted me over 200,000 miles and is still running strong! The car starts up with no problems, and it shifts nicely. The gear shift is placed in a very easy to reach, out in the open place. The air conditioning is still blasting cold air in my face whenever I ask it to, and the heating has also lived up to expectations. It's got a CD player, so you can jam to all of your favorite tunes. The frame hasn't rattles once since I bought the car in 2002 and hasn't developed a speck of rust on it. It has maintained its outer appearance and still looks brand new. The seats are made of a fabric that hasn't started matting and is very easy to clean and doesn't hold stains. The back seat is bench styled which is nice when transporting an animal or three rambunctious teenage girls to the mall. The seats also dip a little bit, so it contours to the shape of your body a little bit more. There's only been one minor recall since the car was made, and that's amazing. It means the car was well built. Overall, for the price, it's an amazing car.

Takes a lickin' and keeps tickin'
I've now owned two Geo Prisms back to back over the past six years; they were both priced at $1,500 dollars, and when I purchased them, they were both run down. Both times my expectations were that they would last me at most a couple of months, but they have both lasted over three years. They're not pretty on the eyes, but they always got me to and from Kalamazoo to Detroit every weekend without trouble. The only reason why the first went out was because I was involved in an accident not because of mechanical problems.

My First Car
This was my first car, so of course I loved it. A lot was wrong with the car, and I couldn't keep up with all maintenance and big repairs, but it kept chugging along. The space in the car was more than enough for my rescue work, which required me to have pet carriers in the backseat and trunk. The only reason I don't have this car today, is because my car went in for $800 replacement of the whole front end (calipers, brake pads/shoes, tie rod, etc) but the garage owner (one man) neglected to refill my oil and other fluids as requested, and my engine died without warning 3 weeks later.
