It's done the job.
The 2008 Chevrolet Malibu was beautiful for it's year and still is. I love the color and the way it sparkles in the sun. The trunk is huge and fits everything I need for shopping trips or road trips. I also did not have to replace my battery for the first time until a few months ago. However, I had problems with the electrical side and things started to break immediately. My back doors refused to lock after the first 6 months of driving it. The batteries in my remote died after 3 months. My switch for the ceiling lights came loose the first time I used it and I cannot touch it now 5 years later without it coming loose again. The back right side floor board floods every single summer because the a/c duct clogs (or something). It's "fixed" one season and the next summer I am back getting it unclogged. My seats are fabric and soak up every drop of liquid that touches it no matter how fast I clean it up. I love my car because it was my first and gets me from point A to point B, but otherwise it is a lot to deal with.

smooth, quiet, spacious, bucket
Looks sleek handles well around corners, and glides over bumps spacious interior and big trunk quiet on the inside at high speeds interior lighting is a cool blue and some white, very calming and not distracting at night Blind spots when reversing, could use slightly smaller head rests Head rests jut out for an impossibly inhuman like neck craning, resulting in severe neck tension at end of trip or back is strained from sitting upright without support. The head rest is really my biggest complaint. The extremely low bucket seats are somewhat awkward to get out of. Almost requires a roll and then a semi-pushup to get out. but the seats (not including head rest) are comfortable while driving.

Am very happy with my car and would not want to get rid of it
There is a lot that I love about my car but there are some things that I do not like also. The problems that I have and which are known to Malibu's is that the rear power windows both stopped working, almost at the same time, It also has an irritating, vibrating noise on the dashboard at times, which is probably something minor, and will get it checked out along with the windows at some point. My likes for the car is just about everything. It is quite a small, 4 door sedan, with a 4 cylinder engine, but it runs lovely, and the body is I think, stylish. It is royal blue in color and has a cloth convertible type roof, which is only there for show. The seats are cloth and it is very comfortable to drive, even on long distances (which have done several times.) There is plenty of leg room and it also has a decent sized trunk, enough to get a couple of suitcases in when needed. My car runs very smoothly at low and higher speeds, and as yet, apart from the couple issues it has that I mentioned above, apart from the usual routine maintenance, have never had to have any major repairs done on it. I have put the small round mirrors on the corner of each side mirrors which covers any blind spots. When I went to the showroom to buy the car in 2007, it caught my eye almost instantly, and was the only one of its kind, especially with the lovely color. People have commented to me many times what a lovely looking car it is, I am very proud of it. Concerning mileage, it is very good, at about 25 mpg. It takes about 15 gallons of gas to fill up, and that will last me a couple weeks, which I am pleased about. I just love the performance of my car. When needed it can pick up speed very well, without shaking or groaning. It brakes very well and handles great in wet weather. I always feel safe when driving it, in whatever conditions. I have had other make cars in the past, but the Malibu I have to say is the best I have driven. I do not like driving too much, but have to say that it is a pleasure driving my car. I feel safe when on the road.
