Dependable, comfortable cruiser.
I bought this car used from an elderly couple who bought it new. The reason I decided to buy the car was that it was 7 years old and only had 30,000 miles on it. To top it off they were asking 2500 under the bluebook price. So to me it was a great deal that I could make money, but in a very short time, I realized I loved this car. It was so comfortable, and it seemed to float over the highway. The ride was so smooth. One thing that I didn't like was that it didn't have leather seats, but it seemed the cloth seats were durable and had some incredible stain guard because my girls spilled stuff everywhere, and I just used a basic cleaner to take care of it. The exterior of the car was very tasteful. It was between a beige and gold color that was attractive, and I have only seen it on Malibu's. It is a four door but still stylish enough for my friends and strangers to compliment me on it. Back to the interior, I loved the setup. Everything was where it needed to be, and I was able to set my self up perfectly. I've said this car was comfy and drove great, but what I haven't said is that I actually took this car into the woods on a muddy logging road and didn't have a bit of trouble getting myself back home. This car can do anything.

Good little car.
I loved this car. I got it for 2,000 dollars with 110,000 miles on it. The gas consumption was good, and it drove well. I had no major issues with it for a while until I went to turn it on, and it wouldn't start. It was something with the security system going wrong, and the only way to fix it was to leave the key in the "on" position for about 10 minutes. Other than that little quirk, the car was good. The interior was nice and comfortable, and it has power windows and a sunroof. I drove the car for 20,000 miles before it needed any major work, and that was only some breaks because of the winter conditions and salt of New York State. The underbody was almost completely rusted out by that time due to those same conditions. After a while, the fuel line began leaking as well, but that was due to the environment not the car. If I were to ever have the opportunity to buy another Malibu or even a Chevrolet in general, then I would because I had such a good experience with the first one. It was a nice car to drive to work everyday and expect it to run. I have since moved on to something nicer, but as a starter car, it was more than adequate.
