It had great horsepower and decent mpg
I really like my 2008 Chevrolet Impala. The ride is smooth and yet it has pretty great horsepower and torque for a sedan. The mpg is a bit awkward as it is supposed to 19/29, but for the most part I get a combined mpg of around 21. I love the notification/status center near my speedometer and rpm meter. It tells you everything from weather to instantaneous mpg to tire psi to fuel range. when you hammer down on the gas pedal it holds gear for a second, but then revs right up and has great acceleration. The temperature control panel can be a little confusing, even with reading the manual, but you kind of get the hang of it

Nice reliable car, good mileage.
I bought the car new from an auto dealer in 2000. I was attracted by the style of the car and of course the color, which was gold. The seats were made of cloth which was something I was looking for as do not like leather seats in Florida with the heat. It was a very comfortable car, especially on long journeys, with there being plenty of leg room and nice, comfortable seats. Apart from being roomy in the cabin, it had a large trunk, which was great when it came to traveling and shopping. It had enough space in the trunk to put two suitcases plus extra bags etc. The quality of the car was excellent, in so much as being a heavy vehicle with 6 cylinder engine. It was basic when it came to the interior gauges, but very nice looking. She never had any noises but I did find that she had a blind spot when driving and had to put on a small round mirror onto the original mirror to correct that problem. I had the car for almost 5 years and in that time it was excellent with not having any major repair costs. Mileage with it was very good also, with about 23mpg on average. I was very pleased with the cars' performance; it accelerated quickly, had good braking and was very easy to handle at speed, or at any other time. I always enjoyed driving this car and always felt safe when in it, mainly due to the fact that it was a nice size and quite a heavy vehicle. I traded in the car in 2005 for another Chevy, but not an Impala, which I sometimes regret as I do miss driving it.

Love it
My 2012 Chevrolet Impala is a great car. It has plenty of space for my family. We can all fit inside of the car comfortably. The trunk has much more space that I expected it to have. The ride is smooth and quiet. The car is very reliable. I am very pleased with the paint on the car. A few small dents from carts in parking lots have shown up, but none of the paint has chipped. The car does not scratch easily either.
