Satisfied.
The Chevy impala has overall been a satisfying vehicle to own. The body design makes the vehicle look like it would fit somewhere into it he middle of a sports car and grandma's luxury vehicle. When the car needs a repair, which has not been very often, the cost is not breathe taking (even when seeing the hourly rate for the mechanic to have lunch getting paid ). Driving the Impala is a smooth experience. The sound quality of the factory speakers and built in radio are nothing less than anyone would expect. However the trunk is large enough to fit 'ANY' sized custom-made sub-woofer box with 2 15" subs in it. Another great aspect is that I had a 10" alpine 500 watt sub in a custom built box and only used 1 500 watt alpine sub-woofer to push it. Unbelievable would define the vibrations in the driver seat every time the bass would sound off. The center console that holds your pop and coffee mug could of been better. As the holes are too large to create a snug fit around any drink or bottle that fits inside the hole and too shallow to prevent anything from following out at the slightest gravity shift. Another draw back is that the Impala does not come with a free pair of metallic-slim gloves, to prevent your hands from getting scratched, torn, and stuck alongside both front seats as you attempt to recover whatever had slipped inside the rather large entrance to the seat belt latches, or the door side for that matter. Even with your seat adjusted in any height or distance from the steering wheel. I would recommend this vehicle to most anyone who wants a dependable car, with reasonable repair costs, that also doesn't want to refill for gas every other day. The 16 gallon tank (or 14 I forget at the moment) lasts me at least a week of average driving around. The annoying text display for my windshield washer fluid out constantly displaying instead of my mileage is annoying error but not a deal breaker, or worth the time to ask the deal to fix the sensor for me. The windshield washer bay is located on the passenger side and in order to get you have to take that tire off, the protective plastic and so on. Runs good, drives better, feels like you bought a more expensive car while driving it.

A vehicle you expect to have for a long time
This is a great vehicle if you want or expect to have it for a long time. Other than general maintenance, this vehicle is built to last. I bought it with 61,000 miles on it and have almost reached 200,000 with little or no major structural and/or mechanical issues. I was told that if I continue to maintain it, it could very well reach 300,000 miles. This vehicle is also a very comfortable for longer rides. Have taken it on several four to five hours and a few eight-hour trips and do not get tired of riding in it. It gets decent mileage around town (21 to 23 mpg) and even better for longer trips (25 to 28 mpg) for the size engine it has. It has a good amount of get-up and go when needed, which I love. One of the best vehicles I have owned so far. And this car has been more dependable than the key-fab for it, which I have worn out twice already and on my third one with this car!

Impala, a car for anybody.
Chevrolet Impala is one of the best built and running cars on the market and has been for years. I have owned three of them and enjoy the ride. From the comfortable seats to the low feel when you get in to drive it feels like you are riding on air. I've found that they get good gas mileage and the way gas prices go up and down it's an affordable addition for anybody. The trunk is large and spacious and you can pretty much load anything including a extra large wheelchair in it. I actually moved home using it to move everything that wasn't furniture and it took only four trips. A luxury ride at an affordable price is hard to come by these days but the Impala has that and more. The radio is stock but it has quality sound for the price. The air conditioner and heating works extremely good and the heater heats up fast on cold icy days to defrost your windshield quickly for going to work. I think the best gas mileage I've gotten is right at 30mpg and to me that's about the best you are going to get out of a nice car. The back seat is big and spacious with plenty of room for your kids and pets for a trip to the beach or maybe the zoo. Overall I give the Impala an A+.
