Welcome to the future
My 2016 Chevrolet Volt LT is a fantastic vehicle. The Chevrolet Volt is powered by an electric motor with a gas range extender, which provides both electric and gasoline power. I enjoy that I can drive the Chevy Volt all electric for most of my day, while having the comfort of a gas range extender for longer trips to see family and friends or vacations out of town. The Volt is comfortable for a compact car, and has a good entertainment system. It's a very futuristic car, but also remains easy to drive and fun to take around town. There is room in the Chevy Volt for four adults - the fifth seat is a lie unless you're sticking a child seat there. In exchange, I can go 53 miles without a drop of gas. That's worth it. I'd highly recommend this vehicle to anyone who is curious about electric cars, but scared of giving up the ability to drive long distances.

It's very un-GM.
It's a good solid car. Fit, finish and materials were better than the 2013 Subaru that it replaced. It handles nice and the extra weight really sticks it to the road like a slot car. Oh, and there's the whole part where you hardly ever have to fill it with gas or do oil changes. Just plug it in every night. it has exceeded all expectations I had for a modern GM car (a low bar, I know).

I love it
My Chevy Volt is the best vehicle I have ever owned. The best part about it is that when the battery runs out, it runs a gasoline generator that charges the battery. I hardly ever have to use gasoline on a daily basis. I can get upwards of 50 miles on the battery in the summer time. Only about 27-29 miles in the winter, but I don't mind that. I don't commute to work, so the only driving I do is when I run my errands and go on trips. And even when I go on a long trip, I end up getting around 40 MPG on the highway.
