Used Chevrolet S-10 for Sale

I did enjoy my s10 extreme, I had the 4.3 Liter v6. It was super fast and felt more like a v8 engine than anything. It was a lower riding truck stick shift, lots of power. The specific extreme model was a very sporty looking truck and 3 door extended cab provided lost of space to fit 3 or four people inside the truck or outside. Although it was super fast, it also went through gas like water. Sometimes I would feel like it drop an eight a tank of gas just starting it. The back end of the truck was very light though and I found myself spinning out every time it rained, which was a pain.

I like the build of the truck except for the drive shaft. I have had the drive shaft repaired and wish they could have built this truck with a one piece drive shaft instead of a two piece. I also have endured little oil leaks from the oil pan but nothing major. I do love the way it handles when you drive it. I like the size of the truck and wouldn't want one any bigger. Its a very comfortable truck and I think the body of the truck has lasted and stood up to lots of weather conditions in the last couple of years. I love the room it has in the bed of the truck. It allows me to bring all my aluminum cans to the scrape yard without any problems. It is plenty wide to also accommodate hauling lawn mowers and bikes. Another part of the truck I like is the keyless entry system it has it comes in very handy when your hands are full. The power locks and power windows are great and love the stereo system. Overall I like Chevy trucks and will continue to do so because of the quality they have.

The Chevy S-10 is a great all around little truck. It handles great, tight turns, and can stop on a dime. It has great gas mileage, and low maintenance. It drives easily on dry pavement, mud, or snow. It can handle a payload much larger than what most small trucks can handle. We have taken this truck out in many different types of weather and we have been pleasantly pleased with truck performance with each type of weather that we threw at it. We have also used this truck as a work truck, and we have hauled everything from firewood, to bricks, to doors, to windows, and paint. We also frequently use the truck to take our grand daughter to her softball practice, and we know that this great little truck will get us there safe and sound. Even though the truck is now older, we have had to do very little work on it, besides oil changes, windshield wiper fluid, and brake fluid. The few things we did have worked on (lights) the part prices were very low, especially compared to other vehicles and how much their parts cost.
