The best truck I have owned
I have a 2005 ford Ranger which I bought new. Ten years later I am still driving it and have put 100,000 miles on it. I have only done regular maintenance on it. It has a manual 5 speed transmission. Externally, the truck looks almost new with the exception of a few little dings. It is parked outside in a drive way all year and the paint is still good and not faded. The inside shows some wear on the rug on the driver side by the gas peddle from the heel of my shoe from driving. It has an extended cab which has room for two people to sit on fold out seats.

A Great Little Truck
This is a tough little truck. I like that it has a 6 foot bed, I know people with similar trucks of other makes that only have a 4 foot bed so this is a definite advantage. This allows a full sheet of plywood or other materials to be carried easily (allowing two feet to hang over the tailgate) something that is almost impossible with a four foot bed. Plus the truck is real workhorse. It has always run well and is still going strong after ten years of service. Of course it has always received regular maintenance. Since owning the truck I have had front and rear brakes changed several times and the muffler and tailpipe replaced once but this is normal wear and tear for any vehicle. The interior is comfortable and has all of the amenities that you would expect to find in a high quality vehicle. The body of this truck has also held up extremely well. There is virtually no visible rust on the body of this vehicle after ten years of salt and snow that is always present during a typical New England winter. In fact I recently had a customer comment that business must be good if I good afford a brand new truck! I would say that is high praise for a ten year old vehicle.
