Amazing Vehicle
The Ford Lightning was the most wonderful vehicle I have ever owned. The truck was extremely reliable; it had over 100,000 miles on and I not once had to have any repair work done on it. The seats were comfortable and were extremely easy to adjust. The cargo space was large and could fit just about anything in it. It was great for hauling heavy things. The Ford Lighting had a 5.4 liter motor in it which was great for hauling. The cool feature is that is had a supercharger with a boost of 10. The acceleration was fantastic; it could get up and go when ever you need it to. It was the perfect vehicle for trips where you were specifically on the interstates because you are able to keep up with traffic. The downfall was the gas. I had to fill up at least twice a week in order to keep it up. There was plenty of room in the truck; It fit three people comfortably and did not feel the least bit cramped.

Fast truck, supercharged, and smiles per gallon.
The second gen Ford Lightning was an iconic performance truck from 99-04. This truck started a whole new era of high performance street trucks and inspired Dodge to try and compete with its obese SRT-10 Ram. The value for your money is amazing considering you can tow with this truck, do burnouts, and even run a 13-second, quarter-mile stock!

Workhorse.
This vehicle, even though it is over 20 years old, is still a workhorse. It is a visually pleasing vehicle, but my main concern is the cost of gas. The interior, despite being so old, is still pristine and aesthetically pleasing to the eye. The dashboard is still intact as well as the airbags. There is ample space despite the fact that it's a truck. It sounds very good as it drives. Though I have replaced the tires ,it otherwise hasn't had to many changes from the original manufacturing -- which I think is quite impressive for its age.
