My old car started to fall apart and I desperately needed a new car so I bought this car from an elderly couple who kept this car in great condition. When I made the decision to buy this car I did lots of research on this car type and I found that it is one of the better choices. I was looking to get an SUV and another sedan type vehicle. I am proud to say I made a good choice. It is a automatic transmission and prior to that I was driving a car that was a manual transmission. I like that when I take a 4 hour road trip with my family I only have to refill the gas tank only once. That was a major plus for me. This car has a remote key unlock and lock system and that was something I was needing seeing that my old car didn't have that feature. When I crank this car up the motor is very qu... (more)
Story
My child and I went to Florida and we had to drive over a bridge that was long and it was surrounded by nothing but water. That day there was bumper to bumper traffic on that bridge and while we were stuck we took pictures inside the car posing against our windows to make it seem like we have an ocean view.
Pros
The pros are it is a automatic transmission, it is good on gas and it is roomy. I liked the fact that the car seats where still in like new condition and the seat-belts were not worn. The glove compartment has enough room in it that I can keep all my important papers in it and a spare cellphone charger. The car trunk was and still is very spacey. Seeing that I make groceries at a warehouse store it was important to me to have a car with a large trunk space. It is very good on gas and with proper driving the gas last a while. I love the car stereo, it plays cds and the fm radio. I love that... (more)
Cons
I don't have too many cons but I will say when I comes to replacing tires the tires can be expensive. The placement of the break-fluid compartment is not in a readily accessible spot. The transmission fluid spot is also in a not so accessible spot. I like to check my fluids in my car once a month and the placement makes it very uncomfortable to do. The pipes tend to wear out rather quickly under the car hood.

Over the years I've owned and driven a multitude of different cars and trucks. After owning my Ford Taurus SHO for 2 years I can say it is one of the best cars I've owned. The car comfortable, extremely sexy, and has so much to offer in media entertainment as well as style of the interior. I commute a fair amount of mile every day to work and back home. Performing that mundane task has been elevated very high with this car. I actually look forward to the drive to and from work now. It's my own little bubble which shields me from the outside world. Riding in style with almost no outside road noise I have no issues conversing on meetings over the built in Blue Tooth in the car. The price was a little more then I would usually pay for a car but in the end it was well worth every penny. ... (more)
Story
There isn't really just one specific story for this car. What I do get is compliments from complete strangers on how awesome the car looks and sounds every week. Either at a gas station, at a red light, or even a store parking lot. People tend to notice the car and just have to say something nice about it to me. It's nice that people appreciate a nice ride but what really makes me enjoy the co... (more)
Pros
Power and acceleration, comfort, interior styling, technology package, and twenty inch rims stock! Even for all it's power the mileage is still very good. On most tanks of gas I get around 22 miles per gallon. Not bad at all for a twin turbo v6.
Cons
The only thing I would change about this car is the stereo. It came stock with a Sony sound system. It's ok but for the class of car this is in I would've preferred a much higher class of sound system like a Bose. At higher volumes the sound system flattens out and sounds weak.

This vehicle was purchased to accommodate our growing family. We needed space to fit two car seats and older child and with the third row seating it works perfectly. The seats are comfortable and is very spacious. It gets decent gas mileage and is easy to get the kids in and out of.
Story
The day we brought our twin babies home was the best. We could just open the doors and click their seats right in. Was a very enjoyable car ride.
Pros
The best part of the car is the third row seating so we can fit two full size car seats in middle and another person (or more!) In the back. There is also heat and air adjustments for the back as well as the front so everyone can ride comfortable.
Cons
The only real negative thing I can say is due to the fact that this has third row is that it limits the storage in the back so when I need to go shopping I'm limited on space to put purchases.
