My vehicle is a 2002 Ford Taurus. When I bought it, it hadn't been driven too much. It only had 70,000 miles by 2015. Initially the car ran fine but not too long after the purchase it began having issues and because this models parts are all motorcraft ,they are a bit more expensive to replace. The car itself is gold inside and out, and the interior is nothing to write home about. But it does get me from home to work and back for my 15 minute commute.
Story
I haven't had any with this car.
Pros
Overall reliable, if maintained this car runs adequately. It has strong pick up when you step on the gas and is pretty quick for a sedan. The trunk space is good and the back seat drops down if need be. The stock radio is good enough. It does have decent gas mileage.
Cons
The vinyl seats are not pleasing to the eye, they crack in places and are freezing in the Winter or hot as lava in Summer. I may be picky but a heated seat is great in the Winter. Overall the car is not that nice looking, just average at best.

The nearly twenty year old Taurus has served me well. Having bought it from a family member and only putting in about one thousand dollars worth of maintenance, the car has given me little to complain about in the almost 5 years I've owned it. While coolant system problems have been a small headache for me and the gas mileage for city could be much improved, the overall comfiness, relatively good highway mileage, and V6 engine do make this a car worth owning.
Story
being called a flying egg for the high speed of the car and it's white color with a round oval shape.
Pros
Very comfortable interior made to fit a family. Ergonomically designed interface for radio and switchable armrest/cupholder are nice features.
Cons
Inability to put in new radio systems. Exterior design is a bit ugly to look at. The design of the rear window can sometimes make it difficult to see out the back when reversing or attempting to change lanes. While it does well on the highway, the city gas mileage can sometimes fall as low as 18 miles per gallon which is less than the advertised 20 mpg city.

The '02 Taurus isn't a flashy car. It's a solid, dependable car that has given me few problems in the years I've driven it. Leg room is something that is needed for me and my family, and this car is able to give us that with a little wiggle room so that everyone can be comfortable. The Taurus is also a comfortable ride for long trips—Illinois to Florida with four people—a little cramped, but still doable. The only thing that is annoying is that the driver’s seat does get a little uncomfortable after an hour or so of driving, but that is also adjustable. It’s just a matter of getting it right.
Story
I mainly use it right now for tooling around town to haul my kid to and from school activities, groceries, and the like.
Pros
* Child safety seat anchors in the back * Large trunk * The back seat folds down to hold larger items in the trunk
Cons
* CD changer located in the trunk. I believe it was fixed in more recent models. * Front passenger seat belt twists and will not retract fully. * The stereo is integrated with the air conditioner/heater within the dashboard and would probably be difficult to switch out
