Fore Taurus still a bargain
The Ford Taurus is a great mid-size sedan for the money. It is a very common car so you will likely know a fellow Taurus owner. The car seems to be very simply built and is very reliable. Everything still works on this car including the power windows, moon roof, air conditioning etc. That is unusual for a vehicle with over 200,000 miles and 16 years of service. I have had to make some minor repairs on my Taurus, but it has mostly been DIY projects because the car is so simply constructed. Finding information online about common problems with the car and how to make repairs is also very easy because there are many of them on the road. The car handles and rides well, comparable to any midsize sedan of its class. There is also a large used car market for the Taurus, so one can be obtained at a very reasonable price almost anywhere. I have had a little trouble with bearings, tie rods, and ball joints in the front end of the car but nothing that I wouldn't expect for a car of it's age and mileage. I had most of the front end replaced for a few hundred dollars at a local repair shop. The paint on the hood of the car has also seemed to oxidize more quickly that the rest of the body of the car, so I'm not sure if that typical of the brand or simply a defect in my own Taurus. In conclusion, I would recommend the Ford Taurus and say that you get a lot of bang for your buck with this car.

My review is pretty neutral.
I like the fact that it was very affordable. I didn't have to pay a note or anything, I just paid cash for it. It looks nice

Great Car
This car has plenty of room for myself and three passengers. The trunk is huge it has lots of space to carry my work supplies as well as other personal items. The sound system is very good though I do wish I had gone with multi-cd or Bluetooth capabilities. The car get pretty good mileage (about 28mpg combined) and has a very smooth ride. I have performed all the scheduled maintenance on the car and haven't had any major issues other than the fuel pump. I've had to replace the fuel pump now five times. While the car is a midsize it has a very sporty look. It has lots of cup holders and pockets to store items inside the passenger compartment. It is very safe and sturdy. I was t-boned in an accident and I can out of the incident without a scratch even the body damage was pretty severe. The car is easy to do maintenance with all of the essential fluids having easy access under the hood. Insurance on the car is pretty reasonable and the monthly payments were very reasonable as well. Smooth ride, sporty looks, and a reasonable price to own and operate. What more could a person ask?
