2008 Ford Taurus - Best car for traveling
This is a very sound and sturdy car. The gas mileage is amazing at 30mph. It makes it cheap on gas for traveling and it is fairly roomy inside. The car has leather seats with seat warmers which makes your booty nice and toasty in the winter time. The A/C in this car works GREAT! Summertime can be very hot even in Michigan but this car cools in a matter of seconds. The trunk is extremely roomy- you can fit a large speaker system in it as well as a full size stroller. I really enjoy the stock sound system that came with the car. The bass alone sounds like there is an expensive speaker system in it. The overall look of the car is stylish especially for it being a family car.
Story
I love cruising in my car in the summertime with the windows down and sunroof down.
Pros
My favorite things about this car is the seat warmers and how stylish the car looks. The car keeps you warm in the winter and looks great all year round. The car is very luxurious.
Cons
I live in Michigan and only had this car for a year and it is already rusting on the bottom of the car. I took it through plenty of car washes to have the bottom washed and it still rusted through
2008 Ford Taurus - Good car
I have a 2008 Ford Taurus X and I could not be more pleased with it. The car drives very well and it has very limited problems with it. I have mostly just had to do regular maintenance on the vehicle. It has over 140000 miles on it and it seems to be doing just fine with oil changes and brakes replaced once.
Story
We filled the car with camping gear and headed an hour away to camp.
Pros
I like the size of the vehicle. I can easily fit my 2 children and 2 friends in the car. The third row back has come in handy for car pooling and taking friends places. I also like that the third row can be folded down so that we have plenty of storage space in the trunk. I can transport my daughters bike in it without any problem. We have also loaded the trunk with supplies for camping as vacations for 4 people and had no problem making it all fit.
Cons
The paint on the car has already started peeling off and I have a few small rust spots on the hood of the car. I also have a few peeling spots on the side door. The car does not have really good gas mileage and I do spend a lot to fill the tank.
