Used Ford Escort for Sale

This was my first major car purchase. I fell in love with it as soon as I saw it. The gray exterior and dark gray interior matched my style perfectly. The car performed exceptionally well. No major problems even after 100,000+ miles. I get more than 40 mpg and considerably more than that on the highway. This car handles curves and corners well. Driving stick shift was a thrill! I didn't learn to drive a standard until I purchased the vehicle. This was an awesome vehicle to learn on and very forgiving. It may be a small vehicle but it can still do work! I've hauled tons of potting soil, wood chips and other gardening supplies in the truck. Overall, a great purchase that I would highly recommend to anyone.

I have not had any major problems since this car was purchased 5 years ago. Cars have come and gone in my family while this one remains. Gas mileage could be a little better. Interior is durable and shows minimal wear. The ride is smooth, and its never broken down.

I bought my Ford Escort back in 2004, when it was only two years old and had only 23,000 miles. I currently have 141,000 miles. No major hang ups. I put on a considerable amount of miles due to my work's location along with other things. I do have one major hang up that I find troubling with the car, and that is the thermostat. The original lasted around 90,000 miles.
