Great for families or for work
When we first started looking for vehicles, we were adamant we didn't want to consider a Ford. However, when we saw this one I fell in love. This Ford has an 8-inch lift. It also has two black stacks that are cut perfectly with the cab of the truck. The truck body is white with black trim around the wheel house, black bumpers, black mirrors, and black wheels. The tires are 38" and look great and run great with limited sound and wear and tear. We were hesitant to buy a 6.0 because we know they take a lot of work and we didn't know how hard the work would be.

Sturdy, reliable and spacious
This is not the vehicle we intended to purchase. However, it is the vehicle we left with. As a one-ton diesel, non-dually, this truck has hauled everything we have attached to it. I have to admit, if I had the dually, I would have beat them up more than once. We have experienced some engine issues, which Ford mechanics attempted to fix. At one point, a diesel mechanic thought the problem was the computer, which is $2,000.00. After that proved incorrect, my mechanically-inclined husband decided to learn about diesel engines and tore into it. Through trials and determination, he was able to locate the problem, a strategically located small O-ring. As from this issue, the truck has been a work horse for us. We have driven it multiple times across three states on road trips. I do not hesitate to jump in and take this truck a long distance, many trucks are not comfortable long term, but this truck is. The truck is now ten years old, and it is showing its age cosmetically. The clear coat is showing signs of wear, but it is a truck, not a Cadillac. I do enjoy the confidence I have that my family is safe if there happened to be an accident. I am confident that we would have a better chance of survival in this truck than in many of the newer and lighter vehicles on the road today.
