2000 Ford F-350 Super Duty - This thing is a beast.
This truck is an awesome truck to own. If you want the gas mileage, then this thing is not for you to own, but if you want to own and drive a beast, then this is your truck. It has four full-size doors, an awesome look and feel to drive, and it has the power to overtake and leave them well behind you. It has the power to pull a giant-size load, and it may be slow off the starting line, but it has the power to overtake the other vehicle and then some.
Story
Get the four-wheel drive, and it will go anywhere. It is a work horse, and the interior is roomy, like bigger people want, and as it should be. It is an awesome vehicle to drive and live in if needed. The four doors are great. It has the power to overtake and leave them well behind.
Pros
This is a beast to haul your heaviest load, and the interior of it is great.
Cons
It is slow on the take off. The mileage sucks, and the cost is up there.
2000 Ford F-350 Super Duty - Great truck with lots of pulling power!

Story
Not long after buying the truck the family went on a camping trip. It was really nice to have the truck. We were excited that we could take all the “luxury” camping gear and it made for a real smooth ride 2+ hours away.
Pros
The features that really stood out on this truck were the 7.3L diesel engine, crew cab, 4X4 and the extended bed. The long bed and crew cab make for a long truck but these were the features I was looking for.
Cons
Some of the negative items on my particular truck are: had a primary cover leak which required pulling the entire engine out of the truck. While the engine was out I went ahead and did a basic external overhaul on the engine. This added up to a very expensive repair. The other item that I consider a negative are: expensive oil changes. This beast takes about 4 gallons of oil for each change. Since it’s a diesel and I’ve head a lot of good things about synthetic, I decided to change over to that making the oil changes even more expensive. Finally the gas mileage is about 14 MPG, which...
