This is meant to be a work truck, not a run around in vehicle. With that in mind, it is fairly nice to drive most of the time. Overall, it has performed well and is dependable. There is no lack of power, even when towing a trailer. At times, the size can be a drawback when trying to park in town. The trim package is pretty basic, but once again, for the type of vehicle it is more than adequate.
Story
We like to go camping. This truck gets us there with all our gear and our trailer. Off road is not an issue, though one time we were on a one-lane mountain road and met a vehicle coming the other direction. It took a little maneuvering to get past each other, but we did it.
Pros
I like that it has plenty of room. It fits the whole family, and there is plenty of leg room. It does sit up higher, so it is easier to see. With plenty of power to pull a trailer, it is great to take on vacation. In the winter, the seat warmers are a very nice feature. At times, we choose to drive it over the car just for that comfort. The instrument panel provides lots of information from fuel economy to distance remaining on current fuel level to transmission temperatures. You also know outside temperature at a glance.
Cons
To start off with, fuel economy is not the best, but that is to be expected from this type of vehicle. The eight-foot bed gives you plenty of room for payload but makes it difficult to park at times. It can be difficult to access items in the back, without getting up in the bed. Cold weather staring is not one of its strong points. If it is going to be below freezing, I recommend plugging it in. Otherwise, it will put extra wear and tear on your starter and batteries.

2006 Ford F-350 Super Duty - Great work and play vehicle.

This is a great truck. This truck is perfect for me because I have been doing a lot of renovations on my house. I like that I can load a whole pallet of concrete in the bed without overloading the truck. Plus, you can easily remove the tailgate so it can be loaded with a forklift without having to worry about causing damage to the tailgate when loading. I opted for the crew cab so the bed is only 6 ft. which does have pose some limitations on the length of lumber I can safely load into the back. I found that I could still load a few longer pieces by opening the window in the back and sliding the wood into the cab. That let me load six to seven fourteen foot long lumber boards. Having a truck is handy when you need to move furniture or need to pick up a new washer and dryer. Since I hav... (more)
Story
I took the truck on a long vacation trip shortly after I bought it. I brought a friend along and let him drive and he was so excited. The truck is huge and you set so high up, it made him feel like he was king of the road.
Pros
Spacious cab, leather interior, powerful engine, decent fuel economy and heavy payload
Cons
Some minor turbo issues, access to engine parts is sometimes difficult.
