I own a 2004 Ford Taurus ES. I think the price of the Taurus' are very fair. They are not too overpriced and are very competitive with other cars similar to the Taurus. The newer body styles look sleek. They are very comfortable to ride in and my car offers a quiet and smooth ride. I have had other sedans similar to this car and they were not nearly as smooth driving. I enjoy that it has adjustable back support as I have back problems. This allows me to get the correct amount of support to make long trips more comfortable. The gas mileage is good too and is comparable to smaller sedan style vehicles. I do not like a few things about the vehicle. It has few luxuries and I have had a few problems with the engine. It has never been anything that has been a very expensive fix. I also have ... (more)
Story
One memorable and fun time I had in this car is when my girls and I opened the sun roof, rolled down the windows, blared the music and sang loudly as we drove around the lake on a warm summer day!
Pros
Price Quiet and smooth ride Good gas mileage
Cons
Mold and water in trunk from leaking that won't resolve engine problems limited quality

It is not a fancy car, but it is a comfortable ride. Even passengers in the back seats are comfortable. The trunk is a good size and holds a lot. The back seat is large as well. Though this car is twelve years old, it is in very good shape. No dents or scratches. My only complaint is that it was bought used and it had been a rental car. For this reason, you cannot open the passenger side door with a key. Also, the inside door panel on the driver's side keeps falling off.
Story
This is weird. One day I had some family visiting, so I drove up to KFC to get some chicken for supper. I went through the drive-through and they gal said it would be a few minutes and asked me to pull up to the line; which I did. A few seconds later, I hear someone shouting. I look behind me and the guy driving the car was driving and standing out the driver's window. He was screaming th... (more)
Pros
It gets really good gas mileage. I drive around my town frequently but usually only need to fill the tank once a month unless I go on a longer trip. Then when I drive on the highway, I like to use the cruise control. This car has a smooth ride and handles very well. The seats are in good shape and are very comfortable. Even the seats in the back are comfortable - plenty of leg room. The radio plays very well and the speakers all work. The trunk is very large and holds quite a bit. The windows and door locks are electric. You can control all the windows from the driver's door.
Cons
This car was bought used and it had been a rental car. Because of this for whatever reason, you cannot use a key to open the passenger side door, you have to open it from the inside. Also, no matter how many times I have glued (and have used different types of glue) on the door panel on the driver's door it keeps falling off. Though the radio works great, it only has a cassette player. If I go on long trips, sometimes it's hard to get a radio station. I wish it had a CD player.
