I purchased the car from my sister once the car was considered totaled due to a hail storm in Wyoming a few years back. When she had given the car to me there was some issues that needed my immediate attention. For starters the timing belt was pretty much shot, the AC didn't work, one of the windows wouldn't roll down, and sadly the car had over 200,000 miles already on it. The car hasn't let me down yet, although its getting close to retirement. I have had to replace the timing belt twice in the last 3 years, the radiator, and I was just told that I may have to rebuild the transmission now that this baby has reached 260,000 miles. Pros
Large trunk space, plenty of room in the back seat and front seat for passengers, easy to clean.
Cons
Constantly having to do repairs on the car. The electrical wiring is messed up, the AC doesn't work, the windows are no longer operating properly, the transmission is going out, had to fix the radiator, had to fix the timing belt many times.

I love my car. It drives really well, is great on gas, and the insurance is cheap. It is a great car for a first time buyer or for someone on a budget. The car itself is very well made, parts are easy to find and pretty much any mechanic can work on it. The car is very spacious on the inside, with a large trunk which is great for moving and buying groceries. And it is small enough to park it on compact spaces. It's really easy to drive around and fun as well.
Story
I drove around the beach looking for a parking space when I saw a huge truck trying to park in between two cars, the other guy tried and tried but was not able to park as the space was really small, after almost 30 minutes looking for a parking space I waited until the other guy gave up and I was able to fit my car in the small space.
Pros
Really inexpensive to fill and gets great gas consumption, as mentioned before is a great car for someone on a budget (student for example), parts are not that expensive and are easy to find. Maintenance is cheap as well. The interior is pretty well done, after almost 12 years it still looks like new. Tires are also easy to find and at great prices. It is very spacious. Five grown adults fit inside the car with ample room in the backseat for legs - people are not uncomfortable on it. Ample trunk space and small enough for easy parking. Insurance is really inexpensive for this car.
Cons
As it gets older the car starts to rattle a little on the inside and on the outside, but this is normal for older cars. More maintenance is required as it gets older and as more miles are put into it, but nothing out of the ordinary.
