I bought the car used with 40,000 miles on it. The only repairs I've had to do was minor mechanics such as a thermostat replacement and clutch bracket weld. I am still amazed after 200,000 miles how well it still runs. It has a manual transmission and a four-cylinder engine that still runs strong, and I get 30 mpg. A newer model would not get that kind of mileage. The trunk is large enough to carry several bales of soil or compost. I love to garden, so I treat it like a truck. When I do take it to the mechanic, he is impressed with how well it runs with so many miles on it. The interior is cloth, so it's easy to clean and maintain and comfortable on hot days. The A/C runs cold, and the heat runs hot with an option for defrost, which the clears the windows quick on rainy days. The handl... (more)
Story
Taking my car to the beach and driving down the beach with the sunroof open and the sun shining in is beyond compare.
Pros
I love the gas mileage. It is equal or better than some new cars. Having a four door makes accessibility easy, and with the pass-thru back seat, I can haul anything.
Cons
It came with low profile tires which I have since changed. It also came with a donut tire for the spare, which I replaced with a full-size tire. It does have some road noise -- more than my last car but nothing intolerable.

The car was perfect for me. I needed a dependable vehicle to get me to class and work, and this car suited my needs. It was very reliable in all seasons and was fairly fuel efficient. Additionally, it had a very spacious trunk which helped very much when I went to get groceries.
Story
I took my car out to a state park and was able to park it up on a cliff where I overlooked the rest of the state park and enjoyed lunch with a friend.
Pros
My favorite thing about the car was the handling. It performed very well in the snow (even though it is very lightweight) and also handled well in the rain. Another great thing was the fuel efficiency. I usually managed about 24 mpg in the city and around 30 mpg on the highway. Filling up the tank didn't cost much because the tank is small, and one fill would usually last me more than a week!
Cons
The car did not have very good A/C. In the summer, it took minutes of driving for the entire car to cool down. In winter, the car took 10+ minutes to warm up fully. Another problem was the upholstery. It seemed like every time I drove the car, there was a new tear or scratch on the seating. I tend to be gentle on my cars, but for some reason, I couldn't avoid finding new tears every few days.
