2005 Nissan Altima - Nissan Altima 2005 Solid Efficient Roomy
I bought my 2005 Nissan Altima Brand new from Nissan in the Inland Empire. It was my first ever new car and it was a great experience. I had the car for 6 years and never had a problem with it. It had a lot of room. I bought the car before the birth of my second child and kept it until after I had my third child. All three children, with car seats, fit in the back seat. I love that the car has so much room, yet it is still very good with gas. It never felt like a compact or commuter car, it felt luxurious, with the benefit of being fuel efficient. The paint was nice, the interior very sturdy. Despite the fact that it shuttled two kids and adults around for six years. When I sold the car I had it professionally cleaned, and that car looked brand new again. Impressive. I was very sad to ... (more)
Story
I just remember after my third child seeing the three of them all in car seats in the back seat and thinking, I can't believe I have three children young enough for car seats all at the same time. This is insane. That car took me from Cali to Seattle (where I am from) 3 times.

2005 Nissan Altima - Functional Family Car
The 2005 Nissan Altima is a roomy sedan with plenty of leg room in the front and back for passengers. The trunk is big enough to carry three large suitcases plus more. The vehicle runs smoothly even after 100,000 miles with minimal maintenance besides routine service. There are two places to plug in chargers, but being a 2005 model, it doesn't have the ability to play mobile devices through the speakers.
Story
Most of the miles on this vehicle are back and forth to Disney World! This car has taken our family there more times that we can count, and usually with a friend joining us. Lots of laughs on the way down and back.
Pros
The 2005 Nissan Altima gets good gas mileage in both the city and on the highway. Over time, this vehicle has averaged 27 mpg on the highway and 22 in the city. The headrests in the back seat do not extend up so the view through the rear window is not blocked. Cloth seats make for easy clean-up and no burned legs on hot summer days.
Cons
There is not much room in the console area for storage besides the cup holder. The car is lower to the ground and the doors open really wide which can make it more difficult for an older passenger to get out of the vehicle.
