This car is very reliable. I have had 2 car accidents in this car and it is still as good as it was when I purchased it 3 years ago. I did not spend a lot of time with upkeep for my Nissan Altima. It has a small rattle sound at the moment that may need servicing soon.
Story
A few months ago.. I started having trouble starting my car. I had someone at a gas station give my battery a jump. I barely made it where I was going before it cut off again. I called my mom to give my battery another jump so I could make it to the nearest auto part store which was only about a mile away. At this point the alternator had gone bad and would not keep the car running. I had my m... (more)
Pros
One of the best features with this vehicle is the gas mileage. A full tank of gas can last me up to 2 weeks with my everyday travels. Another positive thing about this vehicle is that I've been in 2 car accidents, and in both cases the front end of the car took most of the impact. There was very little damage done to any of the parts under the hood. The frame was bent both time and the car still runs without trouble.
Cons
The top negative things about this car is that the radio does not have the attachments I would like to have in order to use some off the newer technical devices. The speakers aren't the best. I had to replace them and it was hard to find speakers that would fit. It is smaller then I would like it to be. The steering on this car is stiff due to a power steering leak. Another con is the fact that you can only open the car on the driver side. It would be a little more convenient to be able to open the car on the passenger side as well.

After years of sitting in the Texas heat, I bought this car with the intention of it being an everyday dependable driver. Very low maintenance car, and even with the repairs I had to do after it sitting out (Battery Replacement, Radiator, and A/C Gauge behind glovebox) they weren't as pricey as my old car was. I love how dependable this car is. And it's great on mileage, about 32 miles per gallon on the highway. I do not have any dislikes about this car, there have been no recalls to it, it's a fantastic car with great potential and is made by a great brand.
Story
I had to drive from texas to Massachusetts to move, and I did it all with this car. I packed all the belongings in it, they all puzzle fit in well, the gas mileage was awesome, and by the end of the journey it cost me almost 500 dollars less to drive then it would have been to ship my items and fly. It made the journey with little a hiccup, and I still had my Trooper car Cedric in the end.
Pros
It's a well made car that's built to last. It's driven over 80,000 miles and did a 2,000 miles straight drive with barely a problem. The car is spacious enough to be comfortable on long drives, the trunk is adequate for my needs, and the seat does fold down to make more room if needed.
Cons
Downside is just little things that have the tendency to break if gone unnoticed. After receiving this car from being dormant for a few years, I realized the thermostat was stuck and the A/C gauge was not cooling the car properly due to a faulty part. Overall though they were easy fixes and the car runs well. The only other con would be the seats, since the cloth is easy to tear if not careful and hard to clean if dirty. If you have a dog, beware that their fur will static stick to these seats and not come off as smooth as leather would.
