Used 2004 Toyota Tacoma for Sale

I have an Toyota Tacoma double cab with some added packages and leather interior. Side running boards and an upgrade for the sound system. It also has the TRD package for off road. It also has a black bed liner. It has been the most reliable truck I have ever had. Have not had any issues with it at all. I have the cab extension that comes in handy for larger loads and easy to put on and off. I can carry just about anything in the bed. Including bikes and groceries at the same time, and I also have cargo nets on each side that help contain things. I have great and smooth speed and easy acceleration for merging on and off the highways. I usually get about 18-21 mpg, and I think that is pretty good for a v6 engine. The cab interior is very roomy and can seat five people comfortable without anyone feeling crowded. The ride is very smooth, like riding in a car. It only has 116,000 miles on it, and I think that is good for a 2004 model. It uses 87 octane for gas, so it is pretty economical to pay for gas. The cons about the truck are that it does cost more than cars for maintenance and for oil changes. Also, it could be a high step for short people to get in because it is a bit elevated. That is the only con I can think of. I get offers all the time from people who want to buy it. 2004 was a very good year for this truck.

The four wheel drive is always great when going off-road on the beach, on trails, or even in the snow. It has a locking real differential, which can get you out of a serious bind when off-roading. This is a very nice feature not found in all smaller trucks. The bed is 6ft long, which gives me ample room to load up everything I need for a camping trip, and more! On most days I drive it on the highway using two wheel drive. Overall, I feel safe in the truck and drive with confidence that it'll get to from point A to B every time. Only gripe is the gas mileage could be better (average at 15 MPG), but that is generally expected from a truck.

I purchased my Toyota Tacoma new back in 2004 and it has been one of the most reliable vehicles I've ever purchased. The interior is comfortable and well built. It does not rattle or shake even after 150,000 miles. I have not had to replace any of the electronic components in the car since I bought it. The truck has an excellent towing capacity for it's size, I have never had an issue towing my boat or a trailer. I'm an avid woodworker and have never had any issue being able to fit all of my woodworking tools in the bed. I often travel around with my miter saw and table saw and they fit perfectly in the back. I have only had to get standard service on the engine after 100,000 miles and I expect to easily get over 200,000 miles on the truck before I get a new Tacoma. On top of that the Tacoma has an excellent safety rating for its class.
