An excellent truck.
This particular truck is a very good looking truck, but the best thing about it is the handling and smoothness. A lot of rook on the inside because it's extended cab. Comes with lots of features and I still learn new things about my truck now and then. Helps to read much of the manual. A couple of things I don't like are that the plastic bed covers and other plastic coverings fade easily. There are also dangerous blind spots between the back doors and the rear of the truck so you have to make absolutely sure there are no vehicles around when you change lanes or turn. An avalanche is average on gas but not bad for a full sized truck. The bed coverings are in sections and easy to remove and are very durable. This is my all time favorite model truck by Chevrolet. I love it in black or red but some of the other colors are good too. I like the 4 wheel drive models the best. Overall a very excellent truck to have under your driveway.

I love my Avalanche!
I love the rugged look of my Avalanche but also enjoy it's sleek interior. As a woman, I wanted a truck but nothing to cumbersome or overly large. It rides like a sedan and has the space of a truck. It's interior is comfortable and large enough to accommodate myself, my two kids, and my 6'9" husband! I will say that the dash material is a bit too plastic and the handles have begun peeling in the couple of years that I have had it. Despite this, I enjoy the fully loaded features such as a sunroof, navigation system, back-up camera, leather seats, television, and covered bed. It runs well and has not given any significant mechanical problems. One consistent thing that keeps coming up is the tire pressure sensor that continues to go out. Our mechanic says it's an easy fix, but pricey because it's hard to tell exactly which of the four sensors is out so you must change them all...a little over $300 for something that's not really wrong but won't pass an inspection without it being fixed. Overall, I love my Avalanche!
