Chevy Blazer = the little SUV that could!
I bought the Chevy Blazer from an elderly couple who drove it to church and to town weekly. The Blazer was well taken care of and I now have almost 200,000 miles on it. There has been routine work involved but nothing else. The interior has no rattles and the seats and dash board are free from wear and tear. It gets 20 miles per gallon on each fill-up and I have gotten 24 miles per gallon before! It does not use any oil and purrs like a kitten. The seats are comfortable and adjustable. There is a ton of storage in the back and the back seat does let down for additional storage. There are loads of cup holders, even in the driver doors! There are make-up mirrors on each visor. There is slots to keep your change, which comes in handy when I stop to get a newspaper. I would recommend this vehicle to anyone to purchase as it has been a great vehicle.

Slow Ride Take it easy
Overall the Trailblazer is a good family truck. I have the extended version which makes the truck heavier which intern makes the pickup slower. The inside is roomy and the cloth seats a very comfortable. I have over 100,000 miles on the truck and it has had minimal problems. The truck has a 3rd row seating option which is great when driving my children and their friends places. It is not a speed demon by any means but it is a solid vehicle. The service engine light comes on from time to time but I believe that is attributed to a loose gas cap. It is a very safe truck with 4 airbags and with all wheel drive or a 4x4 option. Some of the maintenance on the truck is harder than what I had on previous vehicles. Like changing the driver's side headlight. I did not like doing this because it requires taking off the front grill to access the headlight. Very poor design. It also tows pretty heavy things like a boat and camper with relative ease. As far as a family vehicle goes I would give it an A but an overall grad of a B- is what I would give it.

Chevy Blazer- aged but trustworthy
My Chevy Blazer is an '04. The engine still runs like a champ, and it's never needed any major repairs. Besides for regular oil changes, it hasn't needed much maintenance considering its age and mileage (135k). While the engine is trustworthy, the interior has decline considerably. Some of interior plastic/paneling has not held up, and the upholstery hasn't stood the test of time. Performance wise, its V6-cylinder gives it a good amount of boost to drive around town and on the highway for endurance.
