Used 2004 Chevrolet Trailblazer for Sale

The quality of the vehicle kind of lacks from what I think a Chevy should be. It has a lot of rattle and different things that happen. It has very poor traction in snow and gravel. Driving around on country roads in winter is not advised. It actually hauled a 22ft boat without a problem for 250 miles each way. It seems to be kind of falling apart after the 100,000 mile mark. Seals on the doors leak and make a terrible noise. When I bought this vehicle I was thinking it would ride smoother but, its pretty rough.

The Chevy Trailblazer is one of the best cars I've ever owned. After owning many used vehicles over the years, I've finally found one that doesn't break down multiple times per year. It has superior four-wheel drive and as long as I drive slow and smart, I have had no problems driving this truck through snow (and we've had a lot of snow lately). It's also a very spacious vehicle with plenty of room for the driver/passengers. The very back also has plenty of room for carrying items such as my golf clubs or musical instruments. The only negatives I can think of are a little bit of rust near the bottoms of the doors and a back windshield wiper that bumps into the hatchback door knob, despite it being the correct fit according to the manuals. The tires also tend to gradually deflate due to the wheels being slightly misaligned, but that hasn't been too much of a problem and is fairly easy to fix via filling them up or having the grit taken off of the wheels at the shop. I also had to flush the head gasket, which was a bit of a pain but one I was able to do on my own. The biggest bummer has been the fact that the speedometer gave out on me after going through a car wash. It's dead. I've replaced it with a portable stick-on model though, which is actually even more convenient to read. While it is a bit of a gas hog, I don't drive too far so it suits my purposes. I got it for a bargain from my dad when he upgraded to a modern-day truck complete with today's technology. I'd definitely recommend this model to anybody looking for a reliable all weather car.
