2001 Ford Expedition Eddie Bauer edition is large enough for the entire family, and I can still grocery shop with it. That is a very big factor with cars/SUVs today. They make them for enough room for people, but a lot of the time, it's not roomy enough for cargo as well. With having a large vehicle comes a lot of horsepower. I mean a big engine. A gas guzzling machine for sure. All the power in the world but sure hits the wallet when filling this beast.
Story
I told my dad I could fit in a particular parking spot because these cars turn so easily. He said no way. I made it in, and he was impressed.
Pros
2001 Ford Expedition Eddie Bauer edition is large enough for the entire family, and I can still grocery shop with it. Lots of power.
Cons
Horrible gas mileage. Tires will be expensive to replace being 16" and huge.

I was the second owner of my SUV. All leather seats, A/C, power seats, power windows and mirrors. The Eddie Bauer edition is nice. It is a 4 wheel drive and they do well in muddy and icy situations. As for towing heavy loads, I really do not recommend that. The rear-end had air bags and they will certainly give you trouble after towing things often. It gets great highway mileage and has digital gauges to tell you how much gas you are using.
Story
family road trips were always great because we have SO much room for our 5 member family.
Pros
Lots of space and very comfortable.
Cons
Air bag system is not a well designed system for the suspension and the spark plugs are extremely difficult to get to.
