I purchased my 2012 Ford Fiesta SE for a very affordable price. The interior design and fabrics used looks and feels higher quality than I expected which was a pleasant surprise. Radio sound is great, all dash options are arranged nicely and are plentiful. The drive is smoother than I expected also, hardly any road noise to speak of and the suspension works very well. My only concern is the way it drives. From what I understand about dual clutch engines, this is to be expected. The first several months of driving it felt like I was just learning how to drive a manual transmission. It would shudder, stall, and shift pretty hard until I got used to driving it a certain way. That being said, the fact that it's a dual clutch is what gives me such great fuel economy. I rarely get less than ... (more)
Story
When I drove up at home with my car, my friend said that it looks like a blue jelly bean. Now, my car is referred to as "blue-b"!
Pros
Exterior looks nice. Interior looks and feels high quality. Great MPG. Smooth ride. Ford Sync available but I don't use. Cruise control.
Cons
Shifts hard. Shudders, as if you're not driving a manual properly. Stalls - if you aren't used to driving it. Not a whole lot of pick-up. No automatic headlamps.

I have the hatchback Ford Fiesta SE and I really like it. It's small, but doesn't feel too small. It's got a sporty feel and I think the hatchback adds to that, as well as the interior fabric, which is black with blue trim that matches the paint color of the car. It's pretty comfortable for the driver and front passenger, but the back seat can get kind of cramped as far as leg room goes. It doesn't have a ton of room for cargo space, the hatchback actually has less room than the sedan does, but in cases where you do need more space, it's easy to pop the back seats down so they lay flat. It has great gas mileage and I like the feature where it tells you how many miles you have left until you have to fill the tank. You can also switch it to show you what sort of mileage you're getting.... (more)
Story
We take this car on all our road trips because of the great mileage. It's driven from Dallas, TX to North Carolina to Michigan and back and then up to New York. That's kind of like half of the circumference of the US!
Pros
Gas mileage, style, small - but doesn't feel tiny or enclosed, comfortable, I like the features that tell you about mileage/consumption, mp3 player port
Cons
Required a lot of updates the first year or so, recurring air pressure loss in the tires, not a lot of cargo space, cruise control is a little clumsy, debris accumulates at the bottom of the front windshield due to the design
