I have a 2006 Mazda3 and it is currently at 105,000 miles. One of the pros is that it gets pretty good gas mileage. One of the cons is that I feel it dents easily. I have a lot of dings on my car from driving on the highway. That could just be how cars are made these days. I do feel the car is pretty comfortable but I think the mirrors might be oddly placed. I always feel the need to look over my shoulder to make sure there is no one in my blind spot. I haven't had any serious issues with the vehicle, which is good. An issue I had early on with the vehicle was not taking it to the dealership for oil changes. Someone stripped the undercarriage and decided to tie it back up with zip ties. I ended up hitting the undercarriage on low pavement. I wouldn't say this is an issue with the car, ... (more)
Story
When I first got my car, I drove my best friend around and we would blare the music and sing along and everyone would look at us like we were crazy.
Pros
Good gas mileage Reliable car
Cons
Headlights constantly going out undercarriage mirror placement

I got this vehicle new about 10 years ago, and it has held up very well. I like the tight turning radius and the ease of acceleration, and I feel like I have a great deal of control behind the wheel. The only issues I have had with the car are that the transmission isn't available after market, so when I had to have it replaced it was much more expensive than it might have been for a Ford or honda. I really don't use the manual feature of the automatic manual transmission, so I don't think I would choose that kind of transmission again.
Story
When we lived in Germany, we drove this car regularly on the Autobahn where speed limits are high or lifted entirely. The car performed very well at high speeds and I felt safe the whole time.
Pros
I like that it is fast, maneuverable and safe. I like the smoothness of the braking, the ease of turning and the overall feel of the car.
Cons
I dislike that there is no aftermarket version of the transmission, that the 2006 model doesn't have mp3 or audio jack abilities, and the trunk is a little small if you're trying to lug around a stroller and anything else along with it.
