Overall, in year or two of ownership, the car has been nothing short of reliable and good. Ever since I took the test drive of the car, it drove like a dream. The ride was smooth, along with the handling. The radio and interior was very well-designed and looked very nice. The console was unique in that it had a screen like higher-luxury brands. It took some getting used to, but eventually I preferred it more then the screen infotainment center. The center console also had a nice touch where you could navigate to all features of the car. The interior was also touched up very nicely that flowed and had good color aesthetics. Overall, it had a very nice-looking interior with USB and Bluetooth also in the car. The exterior was very sleek and had a classy side for an inexpensive co... (more)
Story
I drove all the way to Maine with my friends, and the view was breathtaking. It was a fun drive in the car and a great experience and drive.
Pros
My top feature of the car has to be the overall appearance. Even the person selling me the car agreed that the car was a great-looking car. The overall look blends in well from front to back. Every time I am in the car, it looks very sleek and stylish. The interior is also very well made. I haven't had an issue with anything breaking down yet, and I've gone about 40,000 miles in the car. The ride has also been very smooth for me. With routine maintenance, I haven't had a major repair yet. The miles per gallon of the car is about 32 miles per gallon highway. However, on a recent tr... Cons
The main negative was the car road noise. As I'm driving down the road, I can't hear anything on the radio and have to turn the volume up because there is so much road noise. In relation to the tires, another negative is the tires that are OEM on the car are very slippery, especially in winter. My advice is to get different, more reliable tires as they can be very slippery driving. Another negative is the interior parts sometimes seem flimsy. Some parts are very loose feeling, and my feeling is that they will not last that long. The infotainment system can also be buggy, as it will r... (more)

The Mazda 3 is such a good value - you get what you pay for. First, the ride is incredibly smooth and the engine is powerful, but good on gas. Next, the Mazda brand is just so reliable. Before the 3, I had a CX5 and it never disappointed. Further - the look of their cars is so nice. The 3 is a fierce, bold little sports car with some serious edge - gotta check out that red! The interior is nice too - a comfortable, black blend material for the seats. The sound system is good for the price, the controls are easy to use, and you can use Bluetooth and play music through your phone. Also, the space inside is pretty decent for a sedan. It's just about the right size, maybe could be a little bigger. However, the trunk space is perfect! I highly recommend the Mazda brand. It's just a comforta... (more)
Pros
Good price Gas/mileage is very good Trunk space is great Very comfortable interior Awesome colors on Mazda brand Really powerful looking, hot car Engine is reliable and powerful Handles beautifully on corners Good storage space inside Does not get dirty easily Warns you when you get low on mileage Tells you how many miles you have left till empty Seats adjust well Mirrors all adjust easily The carpets have double layers - so you can remove the top layer to clean it out and the bottom carpet doesn't usually have any dirt Fun to drive Easy to manipulate settings for sound - bass, treble, ... Cons
Sound system in the 3 could be a little better It's a little small inside for a Sedan For some reason, it's hard to just distance with the front of the car - it's longer than you think it might be Wish they had it in that bright sky blue Don't love the red/gray colors scheme for the screen - a little depressing Graphics are a little 90's looking on the screen The sound system is a little scratchy - seems like the speakers aren't as a good as the CX-5 model Wish the mirrors were a little bigger The cup-holders in the middle are a little too small Side door storage is very small Steerin...
