This car solidified my opinion of Mazda as a solid car manufacturer.
This is the second Mazda 3 we have purchased. We went with the same make and model again because we loved the styling, the zip, the handling, and the lack of annoying maintenance issues. This second Mazda 3 is now at 154,000 miles, with no major repair issues in its lifetime. It still has the get up and go that we initially loved. The paint and body style have held up, and people still look at it when we drive. The Bose sound system still rocks, and the plastic dashboard and components still look very good for their age. The leather interior has held up extremely well with minimal maintenance. The back seat has ample leg and head room for two people. With the back seats folded down, I've been able to transport a seven foot tree. Even 15 bags of 40# mulch. It has very few limitations. I can't even think of more than one issue we have had with this vehicle, and that issue is extremely minor. While the leather interior has been great, the floor covering attracts and holds every bit of loose hair, detritus, etc. We have a dog with silky fine hair, and after one ride in the car, it looks like he's been living it, and it's very hard to vacuum up. This was also an issue in our first 2005 Mazda. Other than that, I have no complaints, and recommend Mazdas to anyone who asks. Because of the track record we have with this car, when we purchase a new car, it will be a Mazda, but we may go with the crossover SUV next time.

Love it
This was my first vehicle. One of the things I have liked most throughout the last eight years is that there has been very little maintenance other than normal maintenance like oil changes, tire replacements, etc. The repairs that I have had to make on this vehicle were either from accidents (there have been two) or learning experiences. As a new car owner, I was unaware that Freon has to be kept up with or you can burn the condenser. Replacing the condenser was a hefty repair. Overall, the car has been wonderful, stable and my experience has been great.
