I got this car because it is one of literally only a few cars that come in a manual and are affordable. Especially since this car was available in a manual transmission in higher trim levels. This car was a great decision, it is fun to drive, economical, has great convenience features and the interior is very high quality.
    Story
I have had a great time on road trips, I took a 1000 mile each-way trip a couple weeks after getting this car and was quite pleased how it handled!
    Pros
First and foremost I am so happy they make this in a manual! I love how convenient and practical this car is to drive every day. It maneuvers well on city streets and is easy to get around. It is fun to drive, and quite peppy! But also with the hatchback and folding seats you can get a lot in this car, or easily haul around 4 people total (5 only in a pinch) and their luggage. Plus it takes regular gas and gets pretty decent fuel economy, especially on the highway. It is rare to find a simple, non-turbocharged engine offering that gets this combination of fuel economy and performance. One ... (more)
    Cons
Not the best fuel economy compared to many in it's class, I only get around 30 on highway compared to the 35 I think it was rated at, and only around 20-max around town. In all fairness, I do drive it pretty hard though as it is very fun to zip around in.

I love this car. I previously owned a 2005 Honda Accord, and this Mazda 3, while smaller, is a very sporty car. For a reasonable price, it has pretty much all of the bells and whistles. It includes a 180+ HP engine, touchscreen, moon roof, and leather seats. I couldn't be happier with this car.
    Story
I simply enjoy driving this car everywhere.
    Pros
The car drives like a sporty car that costs far more than its price point. It's really nice lookings, and it gets great mileage. I really enjoy everything about the car so far. My favorite feature is probably the Apple CarPlay. However, the dual side A/C is great as well. I get compliments everywhere I go in this car, and I marvel at all of its features.
