I have always taken a liken to Chevy.
The Chevy Traverse fit our large family well.
Our Traverse has had some recalls, but Chevy is responsible and has said that they are through their actions.
I dislike the fact that I have the standard, but what we have is perfect for who we are as a family.
I heard the tires are pretty expensive for it, but I cannot verify that yet.
The time, energy, and materials that have been put into this vehicle has not gone to waste.
Our traverse feels as it is part of the family.

I really like this vehicle. It works great for my needs.
I bought this vehicle because it has three rows of seats but is not a huge vehicle. The size is perfect and fits well in my standard size garage with room to spare. The back seats function well for all the kids I drive around. We even took it on a long road trip and it easily accommodated 7 people and all of our luggage. It is easy to drive and doesn't feel too big. I had only driven small cars before this SUV but the transition has been easy.

Chevy Traverse is good
I really like the body style and think it has the potential to be a great car. We bought it used with quite a few miles, so some of the issues we have had may just be because of general wear and tear. It sometimes doesn't like to turn over in the colder weather days, it takes a little persuasion. The back windows in the 3rd row and the rear window are a little small. There are quite a few huge blind spots that make it hard to see behind you when traveling on the highway. And the seat belts in the 3rd row are hard to get to if you have a booster seat in the back. Multiple times we have had to crawl into the back to help our 6 year old buckle their seat belt because there isn't quite enough space for the booster in the allotted space between the side of the car and the seat belt. It is frustrating for this child to have to have help with a seat belt when with our previous car she had not had any issues for 2+ years. The car handles great, I like the feel of it, it feels like you are driving a car instead of a large SUV. The front is roomy and has lots of leg space, but the 3rd row is a little more crowded than we originally thought because the seats are not as wide as the 2nd row.
