I enjoy driving a retired police vehicle because it was well maintained while it was in service. Its a fantastic car for the most part other than repeat and well known issues with the misfires. It does great in the snow for being rear wheel. Its got 300k miles on it and has never left us stranded for longer than it takes to change a spark plug or coil.
Story
We live in NY where state troopers still have Crown Vics in service in the same color as our car. Everywhere we go we never have to worry about people tailgating or being on their phones/speeding because they all think we are cops. We also have police wave at us as they drive past us because they think we are their coworkers. It makes us laugh every time.
Pros
Powerful engine. Spot light comes in handy for deer season. Extra large trunk so we can fit a ton of things in there. The backseat comes off for easy cleaning. No carpet so the floors are quick to clean as well.
Cons
Known issue with misfires. Have had to replace 6 of 8 plugs and coils.
