2012 Ford E-150 - Ford 150 truck is great
It is a Ford F-150. It is white and it is great. I like the simplicity about the vehicle. It runs nicely and speeds up quickly, which is good, considering it is an automatic and lacks manual transmission. I dislike the electronic stuff in vehicles these days, so this is the only thing I dislike. I wish everything were mechanical like they use to be.
Story
We do put a chain around the back wheel so it cannot be stolen since auto theft is a problem in New Mexico. That is the only funny thing I can think of at the moment.
Pros
The pros are that it runs great and is an automatic transmission. It has a huge bed and only two doors. The bed of the truck can hold many things and the bed is black. The interior is nice and clothe, so it is a pretty interior. The motor is great and powerful. I love it. It can haul a nice heavy load. Oh, it has a tow hitch on it too. Just a great truck. It has AC too, which is a must for these hot New Mexico summers.
Cons
Cons are that it is an automatic transmission. They have stopped making manual transmission these days, and this one was an awesome price. Also, it has mechanical roll down windows and no extra special stuff, so a very basic truck. It would be nice to have more luxury options.
2012 Ford E-150 - Gas guzzler.
This is a fun truck to buy but be ready for an expensive gas bill. The truck will haul a heavy payload but it will cost you. It’s does ride well and is built well but for me it wasn’t worth the cost.
Story
Once I drove to Chicago to tailgate at a bears game. It great for tailgating but I had to fill it up 3 times round trip.
Pros
This truck could handle a lot of hauling. The shock system and engine are built well and they require little maintenance even after heavy use.
Cons
Very expensive to own. First off, it’s a hefty car payment due to the fact it’s almost 35k even for a used model. Then you are lucky to get 14 mpg in the city and 18 on the highway. These trucks get horrible gas mileage.
