I own a silver exterior and black interior 2010 Ford Escape. I think the Escape is a great step when crossing over from a sedan into the world of sport utility vehicles. The overall size of the vehicle is not overwhelming. The ground clearance is great, which is a big deal if you are closer to the ground than most people. No need to run and jump in order to get into the vehicle. The console is user friendly and the black and chrome is a nice touch. The sync feature is a bit dated due to the ever growing evolution of smart phones. City and highway driving in the Ford Escape is a lot more enjoyable than the standard SUVs, in my opinion, due to its compact size. Having the ability to make tight turns, fitting comfortably in mall or supermarket parking spaces, or the ability to fit into sm... (more)
Story
A few weeks after getting my sub, I decided to go on a drive to though the Chattahoochee National Forest. As the road narrowed I began to feel very uneasy as I did not know how the sub would be able to handle the changes in the road and inclines. I slowed down and opened up the door just to see the distance between the drop off and my sub, there was plenty of space. I was quite surprised at ho... (more)
Pros
Its compact size allows you to navigate tight parking spaces and turns. The interior is spacious yet not overwhelming. I thoroughly enjoy the heated plush leather seats. They truly come in handy during the winter. I appreciate the extra space and the fold down seats when even more space is needed. I travel between Central Florida and North Georgia quite frequently. My long distance drives are smooth and drives around the city are effortless. This vehicle is also great on gas. A full tank can last nearly two weeks when traveling around Atlanta. When traveling out of town, that same tank wil... (more)
Cons
There really isn't much that I can find negative regarding the Ford Escape other than the engine could be a tad bit quieter. Other than that this vehicle is perfect.

I love the space the driver and passenger has, but I dislike the amount of room in the backseat. Having kids it's great! But I just returned from a road trip and two adults in the backseat has turned to be a little uncomfortable for those trapped in the back, however, it seems that the relative lack of space in the backseat leads to more cargo room in the back, we packed everything we needed in the back comfortable. As far as performance it works great, great gas mileage, the shocks so good that even going eighty we felt like we weren't even moving. The entertainment system is entirely hands free and allows for music browsing easily. The hands free sync of the phone made it easy to keep up with my family while on the road!
Story
I used it just recently for a road trip to Austin Texas with my improv troupe.
Pros
The best features of this car is the climate control, gas mileage and entertainment system!
Cons
The passenger seat room is very uncomfortable, that's my only complaint.
