I absolutely love my Ford Excursion. First, I like that it's loud and big and people can see and hear me coming. I can barely tap the gas or floor it and it feels like it goes from 0 to 100 really quickly.
Story
Taking it off roading with my friends and family to the desert. I would always haul it the half an hour or even closer to the sand dunes and we'd take it out for the day with our bikes and enjoy our time.
Pros
It can pull heavy loads. It's loud and big. I think it's also very safe. It's huge and fits up to eight people. It's also very spacious for long legs. The back also has a lot of space for storage. I think V8s last forever!
Cons
It's a diesel and diesel in California isn't cheap. One thing I dislike but I still love was the color choice. I got it in black and ended up moving to the desert and it gets so hot.

I have driven the Excursion over 200,000 miles. It has been very dependable and has plenty of space for many passengers and luggage. It cruises on the highway very smoothly. It's a solid vehicle.
Story
I loaded up the car with my sister and her family and we explored the desert.
Pros
Lots of space in the trunk area. Can seat up to 8 passengers. Is very solid and has excellent road visibility. Has survived over 200,000 mile of driving. You can drive the vehicle over 600 miles on a single tank of gas. The air conditioning has two zones - front and back. There are 4 'cigarette' charging locations.
Cons
The back seat cushions are not the most comfortable. Getting in and out of the 2nd row of seats can be a problem for people with big feet since they get caught. The second seat is stationary and does not slide back for more 2nd row legroom for long trips. The car is older and there are no USB outlets.
