The Explorer is a good car overall. However, as it gets older, it seems like there is always a problem under the hood. I do not like that the interior. It is literally falling apart along with some accessories. I love that it has been big and taller than sedans; it makes me feel a little bigger on the road too. I also love that it has so much space and can drive in ruff conditions.

Ford Explorer Sport
My car has been very good to me the past four years that I have had it. I have had very few problems with this car. The quality of it is alright for being a 2003, but I believe there are plenty of nicer cars that were most likely better taken care of that were made in 2003. My door handle broke and that was fixed, after that, it broke again and is currently broke.

Safe, Reliable, Excellent handling, Great for the Money
I love my navy blue Ford Explorer! It is large enough to make my family feel safe, and handles well, especially with accelerating. I feel very "in-control" when driving, and not at the mercy of some idiosyncrasies that other smaller vehicles sometimes have. It is large enough to haul and carry lots of large merchandise, with the middle seats down. In some other brands of SUV'S in the past, it was quite a problem to have to remove seats, put them in the garage, and reposition them later. These middle seats lay down with the push of a lever, and then pop back up again with another lever, making it very easy. I also love being up higher in the seat driving, and really appreciate that when I occasionally drive in a smaller car. I am committed to buying Fords for the rest of my life, and will stick with Explorers and Expeditions.
