2016 Ford Fiesta Owner Ratings & Reviews

2016 Ford Fiesta - It's my love.
For someone who needs a new car, but is on a budget, the Ford Fiesta is a very good option. Many years ago, I used to own a Ford Escort, of which the Fiesta is the worthy successor model. The engine is nice and zippy and responsive, the fuel economy is great, and the overall functionality and feel of the Fiesta matches its price and value. Someday, I will upgrade to a higher-priced vehicle, but for now, the Ford Fiesta is a practical option that works very well for me.
Story
I had a car that was almost 300,000 miles and was looking for something reliable. I found that and then some in my Fiesta. It's such a wonderful car that I feel 100% safe in. This car meet all my needs so far. It has a great visual, great performance, very comfortable and with a great price and very economic.
Pros
Base models come with a standard, four-cylinder engine that offers wither 69 or 84 HP, depending on the trim package. The 1.0 turbocharged EcoBoost engine provides 99, 123 or 138 HP. The numbers may seem low, but the car has great acceleration and the power levels work well for the subcompact. The hot hatchback model and ST trims will come with an even beefier engine. The sporty model with produce 197 HP with 214 lb.-ft of torque. Ford claims the model will be able to go from 0-60 MPH in only 6.7 seconds. The interior style is comparable to much more expensive vehicles. The options seem ne... (more)
Cons
The hatchback model of the Fiesta has 14.9 cu. ft. of storage space. This can be expanded to over 25 cu. ft. of space with the backseats let down. The sedan offers a mere 12.8 cu. ft. If cargo space is a major factor in your car purchase, you might want to look elsewhere. While not the worst, it's far from the most space offered in this class of vehicles. The 2018 Ford Fiesta has a spacious cockpit area, but the backseat passengers will not be as comfortable. The rear sets are small, and the legroom is almost non-existent. Still, this may not be much of an issue if your rear passengers wil... (more)
2016 Ford Fiesta - Car love.
This current model is the seventh generation of the supermini. You’ll be relieved to hear it bears almost no relation to the first. That was a right biscuit box and looked like a drawing of what a car might be (by a child who was bad at art). It was about as aerodynamic as a brick. Today those folded-paper edges have been replaced by sweeping curves and wraparound finishing. The Fiesta today has perfect proportions, so it’s hard to guess its scale. It looks quite big in the picture, but on the road it is remarkably neat and tidy – like one of those muscly little gymnasts.
Story
While road trips may typically feature big bulky SUVs or at least roomy sedans, sometimes it is fun to take shorter trips in a car that is just plain fun to drive. The 2011 Ford Fiesta is one such car - small and compact but surprisingly zippy and one of the most fun driving experiences I have had in a long time.
Pros
For the price, this is a great commuter car, or first car. It is speedy, and has everything you would need from a basic model. We are going to tow it behind our motorhome, and are pleased with the weight.
Cons
Bought car for a job that I had to travel to 35 miles daily. Mpg is great with or without cruise control. Driver side window stopped working. Wouldn't go down. Took whole day to repair. Had no wind/air noise before.. Now don't have that tight seal like when new. They can't fix that. Seats can use a little more padding. Worse of all to me is that the AC/heater vents on driver side are blocked by steering wheel. Over all it provides a very decently ride. Has a lot of get up and go. Exterior is very stylish. Not bad for the money.
