For someone who needs a new car, but is on a budget, the Ford Fiesta is a very good option. Many years ago, I used to own a Ford Escort, of which the Fiesta is the worthy successor model. The engine is nice and zippy and responsive, the fuel economy is great, and the overall functionality and feel of the Fiesta matches its price and value. Someday, I will upgrade to a higher-priced vehicle, but for now, the Ford Fiesta is a practical option that works very well for me.
Story
I had a car that was almost 300,000 miles and was looking for something reliable. I found that and then some in my Fiesta. It's such a wonderful car that I feel 100% safe in. This car meet all my needs so far. It has a great visual, great performance, very comfortable and with a great price and very economic.
Pros
Base models come with a standard, four-cylinder engine that offers wither 69 or 84 HP, depending on the trim package. The 1.0 turbocharged EcoBoost engine provides 99, 123 or 138 HP. The numbers may seem low, but the car has great acceleration and the power levels work well for the subcompact. The hot hatchback model and ST trims will come with an even beefier engine. The sporty model with produce 197 HP with 214 lb.-ft of torque. Ford claims the model will be able to go from 0-60 MPH in only 6.7 seconds. The interior style is comparable to much more expensive vehicles. The options seem ne... (more)
Cons
The hatchback model of the Fiesta has 14.9 cu. ft. of storage space. This can be expanded to over 25 cu. ft. of space with the backseats let down. The sedan offers a mere 12.8 cu. ft. If cargo space is a major factor in your car purchase, you might want to look elsewhere. While not the worst, it's far from the most space offered in this class of vehicles. The 2018 Ford Fiesta has a spacious cockpit area, but the backseat passengers will not be as comfortable. The rear sets are small, and the legroom is almost non-existent. Still, this may not be much of an issue if your rear passengers wil... (more)

I drive this car roughly 250 miles a week between work and classes, and after 3 months it still rides like it's brand new. I stop for gas a little less than once a week with use on both highways and in stop-and-go traffic. The engine is extremely quiet, and when the windows are rolled up it's a near silent ride. The trunk is surprisingly spacious, enough to contain my backpack, my friend's backpacks, plus anything else we might have with us. The interior is a sleek and stylish black. The seats are upholstered and yet are easily cleaned and don't hold on to foul odors (e.g. cigarette smoke).
Story
One night, when four of my friends and I were back home together for the summer, we decided that our legs were too tired to continue walking around the block looking for something to do. After some debating, we all piled into my car (since it was the newest) and go down this long stretch of road that runs right along the oceanside. We had the windows rolled down, music blasting, and we zipped ... (more)
Pros
The interior design is simple, yet efficient. The seats are incredibly comfortable, and it's quick and easy to adjust the driver's seat to the perfect height and proximity to the wheel/pedals. The audio panel in the dashboard is easy to navigate even while driving. Also, it might be a compact car but I've had no problem driving it in inclement weather; large puddles and slippery roads are not an issue!
Cons
My main and only complaint for this car is the fact that on the highway it starts to become affected by wind resistance once you hit 80+ MPH. In high winds it's pushed around a little bit, but thankfully not enough to cause safety issues for myself or other drivers.
