I like my Ford Fusion SEL because it has been a reliable vehicle for me. I traded in my old truck when I found out that I was having a baby. The safety features on it have helped a lot for my peace of mind. It has back up cameras that beep at me if a car is coming, so I can use that to make sure I don't end up in an accident. It also tells me when a car is in my blind spot, so I don't have to worry about accidentally hitting another vehicle on the highway. During the winter, the seat warmers are amazing. When I was pregnant, the seat warmers really helped my back a lot, especially when I was needing to drive on long trips. The traction control also helps a lot over the winter. I wish it had a better turn radius on it, because when I have to make tight turns it can sometimes be somewhat... (more)
Story
I was driving through a snow storm in the car one day, and the roads were iced over. Although my car is 2WD, it handled quite well because of the traction control. It was a life saver.
Pros
Leather seats, back up camera, heated seats
Cons
Turn radius

2011 Ford Fusion - Great for single life and family life.

I have the 2011 Ford Fusion SEL with the V6 engine. I found the size to be perfect, the power to be great and the MPG to be ideal. I do a lot of short range commuting to work and also a lot of long road trips. Being able to have a larger car with great pickup speed and still be able to maintain over 30 MPG on long range trips is great. I am still able to Keep the MPG near 25 when I drive to work on highways with minor traffic. The interior is clean to fairly good quality. I have had no major issues inside the car.
Story
I remember picking my future wife up on the 1st date and telling her she could pick the ambient color in the car. A cheesy thing to do but we both remember it.
Pros
One of my favorite features is the keypad on the side of the car. This lets you lock and unlock the car with a chosen pin. I love this when I go to theme parks and such places where I do not want to risk losing my keys. I lock them in the trunk and then use the pin to get in when I am done. Also you can never lock yourself out of the car. I also love the power of the car. Great pick up for highways merging is a huge perk. The car also have ambient lighting that can change colors for the floor and cup holders. I find this to be a night touch and something I like.
Cons
There a not many cons for this car. Some of the DIY car projects can be hard on this car such as changing lights due to being hidden under plastic that can be difficult to move without special tools.
