Overall, the car is quick in the low gears and fun to drive in manual sport mode. The engine is satisfying to hear, the vehicle is responsive, and it looks just flashy enough to turn heads. The transmission does like to stay in second gear a bit longer than is probably necessary, and the suspension is definitely tuned for Sport mode. Gas mileage is disappointing compared to similar-sized vehicles by other manufacturers, but the build quality and trim options are second to none.
Story
Zipping between red lights downtown is always fun, and when there isn't a lot of traffic, hearing the turbo reverberating off of the glass-front buildings downtown is quite rewarding.
Pros
The sound system in the Titanium trim level is amazing. Bass and mid tones can rattle windows and mirrors, and surround sound brings out the subtleties and richness of most music. The leather seats are generally comfortable, and unlike some other American cars of the same era, the leather actually feels like leather, and not plasticized. Climate control is pleasantly responsive to changes in temperature settings. The power band of the drive system continuously pulls the car faster all the way to the red line, allowing for minimal power drop on the upshift through most gears.
Cons
Gas mileage is around 18-20 mpg combined, which is disappointing for a vehicle of that size made so recently. The engine struggles on regular unleaded gasoline and doesn't truly shine until it slurps down premium. The transmission timing feels a bit flawed around second gear, as shifting out of second gear into third typically takes two to three times as long as shifting out of other gears. The headrest is oddly designed; it always seems to be tipped too far forward, even when it is reset to its "retracted" position.

My 2011 Ford Fusion is one of the best cars I have owned. Not only do I enjoy the look of the car but it drives beautifully. First, the leather interior always garners tons of praise once they enter the car. The panels and controls give the car a very luxurious feel even though it's not a luxury vehicle. Under the hood, you have an incredible powerful motor that has elevated torque and speed being a Sport trim. When driving, I don't even notice the road because of how smooth the drive is. Overall the car itself provides a lot of comfort and safety. Ford has even installed a hands-free voice command system to help navigate the GPS, phone calls, music, radio and a few other cool features. I would absolutely recommend the Ford Fusion to all of my family and friends
Story
I remember first getting the car and driving it home for the first time. I had to travel a distance on the highway and I used cruise control for the very first time and was stunned. It really helps made the trip that much more enjoyable.
Pros
+ FORD SYNC which allows me to connect my phone, mp3 player and other wireless devices via the Bluetooth. It's probably my most cherished feature on the car. +I'm able to change the color of my dashboard and bottom lights near the floorboard. It's a neat
Cons
-One negative is sometimes the car will hesitate upon startup. It's never caused a problem but it just makes me worry sometimes -The gas on this car needs to be premium which costs more -Not a fan of the sunroof
