I purchased a 2012 Ford Escape Limited Edition brand new in 2012 and am extremely satisfied with its performance. I am a single grandmother and the space is ideal for me and my family. I enjoy being able to haul many things without having many issues. There are several perks to owning this vehicle such as handling in everyday road use, and handling in snow and bad weather conditions. The gas mileage is average for a smaller SUV. I average 22-27 mpg city/highway driving. The pick up power, when passing, is peppy and quick to respond. Interior design is comfortable, roomy and elegant. I love the stone leather interior. Story
I guess the most memorable story is being able drive on snowy roads and feeling comfortable while others are slipping and spinning.
Pros
My SUV is easy to drive, I love the way it handles. Here are the positive things: * handling * gas mileage * leg room * hauling capability * comfort in riding * powerful air conditioning * lift gate options
Cons
There is only one thing that I don't like about my vehicle and that is the road noise from the tires. I have 51,000 miles and around 45,000 I began noticing the road noise from the tires. I have had the tires rotated with each oil change (every 5,000 miles) but the noise has developed anyway.
