My vehicle is a 2005 F-150 FX4 with the 5.4L Triton engine. It is red in color and is the super cab model. It has grey cloth interior and black door trim. It has been lifted a little with much larger tires. The truck came with a factory bed liner and step bars from Ford so that was nice that I didn't have to buy them. I have painted them from chrome to black as well as blacked out all the factory chrome. I say all this to give you a feeling for the look of the truck, which I absolutely love. It is still the best model Ford truck out there, I think, except for the Raptor. The clear coat on the paint on the tailgate has started to peel off but that is the only location. The interior is great. I love the seats and the cloth. Not a leather fan and its upkeep. I had to recently r... (more)
Story
Drove it to Myrtle Beach recently with my friends. Great trip. Everyone noticed the big red truck and loved it. It really does look great.
Pros
Appearance, comfort, style, and easy to work on.
Cons
Engine issues, rear sliding window leaks, stereo and speakers sub par, and four-wheel hubs are poorly designed. Weak link in that system.

The Ford F150 is a great machine. I have the FX4 package and both the interior and exterior designs are beautiful. The FX4 package comes with a great feature set - navigation, 4WD, Bluetooth, phone integration, backup camera to name a few. Overall just a great vehicle - there is a reason this truck is ranked #1 for over 30 years running.
Story
The best memory I had was when I had some coworkers come in from out of town. When I walked over to my new truck I saw all their jaws drop as they were all jealous of the truck.
Pros
The first is no doubt the styling of the vehicle both inside and out. The car is very easy on the eyes whether you are sitting inside of it or watching it drive by. The next would be the drivability of it. I was slightly nervous getting a large truck to begin with, but this vehicle doesn't drive like a truck - it drives like a large sedan. The features of the truck are great - backup camera (which helps given size of vehicle), navigation, phone integration are all great additions to this vehicle.
Cons
Only 2 negative things would be: The truck, given the size, can be difficult to navigate in tight spaces. This isn't specific to this truck, just a statement on larger vehicles in general. The gas mileage is not great. After roughly 12,000 miles drive, I average roughly 14 MPG.
