I really enjoy driving my Fusion Hybrid because it handles nicely in commuter traffic and it is just my size - neither too big nor too small. It has a very sleek and sporty look. It has the power I need to pull out into traffic when necessary. The seats adjust to accommodate my short legs and the side view mirrors have the blind spot feature. Those things are important to me as I maneuver in traffic.
Story
After we got the car, my grown children had to do a double-take look at it as they couldn't believe their mom had gotten such a "cool" car.
Pros
I like the real time monitoring for fuel consumption and performance. The built in GPS is very handy and fairly user friendly. The heated seat feature is one that I thought I would not use (I live in Florida) but it is very nice in the mornings in January and February. There is ample leg room in the back seat for groceries or other shopping items. The glove box is roomy with ample storage for registration and maps.
Cons
The defroster, both front and rear, seem to take a long time to clear the windows but that is common in Ford vehicles. The center console between driver and passenger front seats is shaped oddly and does not have as much room as I would like for storage.

I like the gas mileage on the hybrid. This is primarily why I purchased this car. I owned a Toyota Prius previously and was used to higher gas mileage cars. I liked the Fusion because it looked more like a normal car, as I always thought the Prius was ugly.
Story
I have gotten a lot of positive comments from people telling me that It looks like a cool car. Also, they are surprised to learn that it is a hybrid getting about 35+ mpg
Pros
I find this car very reliable. I have owned it for two years and have not experienced any mechanical problems with it. I have only needed to take it in for regular maintenance. Also, it handles very well and has a small turning radius making parking lots easy to navigate.
Cons
The trunk space has always been an issue with me. There is a "shelf" in the trunk, where the hybrid batteries are located. This makes the storage space limited. Also, I have to remove a couple of golf clubs from my bag in order to get them to fit into the trunk. It did not get as much MPG as the Prius.
