The Ford Focus ZTS is the first car I've ever owned. It has been a great vehicle and has carried me to and from university for over 4 years. I went to university about 4 hours away from home and I never really had problems driving these long distances on a fairly regular basis. The smaller size makes it easy to maneuver, especially when compared to other similar four-door sedans.
Story
During university, I took a road trip with several friends from Tallahassee, FL up to Washington DC for a rally featuring Jon Stewart and Stephen Colbert. We visited several spots along the Southeastern United States. It was a great road trip, and the car treated us very well.
Pros
I absolutely loved the 6 CD changer when I first bought the car in 2004. It was a great feature. I have also always loved the large trunk space that could easily hold 2 full sized suitcases plus some smaller bags.
Cons
After a few years, the car did begin to require a lot of maintenance. It seems that the same problems occur over and over again. Specifically, I have had problems with one of the belts in the engine that seems to wear down and break every few months, causing the car to shut down. The air conditioning also began to break down after a few years which made summertime driving very uncomfortable. Finally, the radio/CD changer completely broke one time with no warning or apparent reason and had to be completely replaced.

The 2003 Ford Focus ZTS is a cute, sporty little car with economical value. While it certainly isn't the sexiest or most luxurious car available, its low cost to maintain and excellent gas mileage more than make up for the car's visual appeal. The car easily gets between 28 and 32 MPG highway, and even in the city, it seems to do just fine. Filling the tank at the current prices takes less than $30!! Featuring the compact style Focuses are known for, the ZTS model also possesses a rear spoiler and a moon/sun roof for added fun, and the stereo that comes standard in these models is much more advanced than most 2003's offer. While the car's lightweight nature may make it a contender for some, the same feature may cause difficulty for those who live in snowy, windy areas, and the 4-cylind... (more)
Pros
- GREAT gas mileage!! (Between 28-32 MPG) - sporty, but not fancy - moon roof/sun roof - great stereo system for an '03 - low maintenance cost
Cons
- Doesn't accelerate quickly, struggles with hills - lightweight, gets blown around in high winds - not the best in harsh winters

The 2002 Ford Focus ZTS is a sport performance automobile. It has great fuel economy, city & street! The handling is optimal an can glide an turn with ease! The air conditioning is one of the top coolest air conditioners that I have ever had the pleasure in operating! It comes with a Sports Wing an Pristine Wheels, they tires are phenomenal for handling. They offer many Vibrant Colors but I chose Charcoal.
Pros
Many Pros come with this automobile the single most Pro is that it is very inexpensive to maintain. The parts are easily available. Most can repair this vehicle on their own with little to minimal work! As for taking the Vehicle in to have it service it as well is not all that expensive. By Far a 9out of 10!
Cons
The cons to this vehicle that I can only find is that the Antifreeze storage compartment vicinity will need to be replaced with a more efficient greener promoting housing, Other than that there is absolutely NO CON!
