I love my Ford Focus ZX3. The gas mileage, comfort and reliability make this car my favorite. I often say that if my husband buys a new car for our household, I would like to continue to drive my Focus. This hatch-back body style is preferable in our household to the sedan version, which was also test-driven. It is sportier and more fun to drive. This model seems to have more spunk and acceleration. We have even moved small furniture in this car and often take it on garage sale expeditions. It has much more room for a compact car than one would imagine. I feel that I am sitting a bit elevated in this vehicle, which makes me comfortable in regards to safety. Story
I once found a chair I loved at Goodwill and was shocked that it fit in the hatch of the Focus with the seats down.
Pros
I love the comfort of the Ford Focus ZX3. The seats, knobs, and pedals fit well with my small frame. I like the tilting ability of the steering wheel. This is the first automatic transmission car I've owned, and this car made it an easy transition. The rear windshield wiper and defroster are pluses in our household. The fact that my car is small is great when parking in tight spots or needing to turn around. It is a refreshing change from our SUV when we have to turn around in a tight spot and can! This car has many pros.

A con for my Ford Focus ZX3 is that changing the headlight bulbs is unusually difficult. We have tried to change them on our own and with the help of YouTube, but end up going to the dealership. Once, three technicians had to be called in to change my headlight bulb. I hope that Ford will change this. The alternator did go out a few months ago and there was not much of a warning. An advanced warning to this would have been appreciated. Thankfully, the alternator was easily fixed by a local mechanic. I do wish that the CD player "shuffled" CD's. However, I'm sure most new models are mp3 ... (more)
