I like that this is a domestic-made car. For that reason, it seems easier to have serviced and cheaper to fix. I have driven over 150,000 miles in this car, and it has never had any major problems. The exterior of the car still looks good to me, and the style isn't very outdated even though it's over seven years old. The inside of the car is spacious, but now that I have three kids, I feel like I might need something with a little more space in the back. I need three rows. The material of the seats is not leather, and it's not fuzzy cloth; it's some kind of stretchy blend, but I like it. It's easy to clean and doesn't stain as much as cloth. It seems to be pretty good on gas, and I like that it has the options that I can read through and see how much gas I have left. One of my ... (more)
Story
I used my car to take mine and a few other neighborhood kids trick or treating for Halloween one year, and they had fun sitting in the trunk. I had so many they filled up the back seat and the trunk.
Pros
My favorite feature is the moon roof; I also like the cloth of the interior. I also like the size and the fact that it is an SUV. I would not consider getting a new car if my kids stayed small, but of course, they are going to get bigger, and we are going to need more room in the future. It is fine for now with three small kids, but in about two years, I will probably need to upgrade.
Cons
The CD player went out about three years ago, and I haven't been able to get it fixed. As time has changed, the interiors of cars have been updated with touchscreens, and this car doesn't have one.

2010 Ford Edge - Reliable and stylish.

The 2010 Ford Edge Limited is one of the best cars I've ever owned. It is stylish, comes with all the extras and is a quality family car. This car is safe, sturdy and dependable.
Story
At a softball tournament, it started to pour rain. We put the equipment in the backseat, and four girls got in the back end of the car and played games.
Pros
Although it has nothing to do with how it drives, one of my favorite options is the Microsoft Sync feature. I can plug a phone or iPod into the car and it allows me to verbally control the music or phone. I bought this car new and I'm driving it until it dies! When I go it, I was able to fit three car seats across the back. We upgraded to booster seats along the way and again, three boosters fit as well. Now, I have 210,000 miles on it and I still feel comfortable driving it all over the state. I have one kid in travel softball and one in travel basketball. The back is big enough for suitc... (more)
Cons
I feel like this is a positive, but I've heard it's a negative. My car has a double sunroof. One sunroof opens, the other doesn't. I think it looks nice and it's a fun feature. I've heard it's dangerous if I were to ever roll the vehicle. I have had this car so long that I've put a few sets of tires on it. The tires for this vehicle always seem to be more expensive. My car is front wheel drive and I don't love driving it in snow or on ice.
