The Ford Edge has plenty of room for a big guy like me, as I weigh about 355 lbs and I'm almost six feet tall. It's got a nice amount of room in its backseat for the kids, as well as still having room to pack stuff for the family trips we like to take during the summer. It gets pretty good gas mileage, as I have to travel about 30 miles to and from work each day, so I only have to fill the tank up once every seven days or so which is quite nice. It rides smooth compared to other mid sized vehicles of its size that I've driven in the past. The power steering is quite nice, as it handles well.
Story
I took a trip down to Jacksonville, Florida, to see a WWE Wrestling match, and ended up stuck in a huge Car Show, in our nice shiny Ford Edge, and we had people yelling out to us, telling us, "Nice wheels man!" It was just an awesome time, even though we were stuck in a huge traffic jam. Being that it was myself and my father, stuck in traffic, in a huge car show, with all the attention on u... (more)
Pros
The best thing about this car is that it's not a "gas guzzler," like the old car I had before. I find it has a pretty good stereo/sound system, which can help on those long vacation travels I like to take in the Summer. It's not so big that it's difficult to park like a lot of other vehicles of its size typically are. It doesn't all the fancy gadgets to be all "technologically advanced" which to me is a plus because I don't need all that fancy add on stuff to make the car better.
Cons
The biggest negative of all is that there's no electronic seating. Power seats would have been a nice feature, just like most other cars have these days. Also, no CD player. Though it does have access to satellite radio, if you want it. Everything is pretty much still manual, and I know plenty of people prefer to be "technologically advanced," so I'd say since that's the preference of a majority, that'd be a a major con of this particular vehicle.

2014 Ford Edge - Great SUV but lacks some things.

I have 2014 Ford Edge Ls. The pros are that it is good with horsepower; it will push you back in the seat. But not for long. Great for a women who is into sports or has a family with the back seat letting down with button. The front end of the vehicle is superb. It looks like a newer model that just came out. What I dislike about the Edge is the gas mileage. The gas tank is small, so be prepared to fill up a lot on long trips; it comes with dual exhaust, which is a plus for looks. No mechanical issues since I had it, and it's a Ford, which is a plus. I think they make top end SUVs but could use some better things in the later models, like the radio lacks to eye and doesn't recognize you at times its gets very frustrating repeating commands to Bluetooth. The inside could be a lot bigger... (more)
Story
Another Ford Edge pulled up beside me; we both revved up the engines at the line like we was in race cars knowing these SUV wasn't built for this. As the light turned green, we sped off pretty fast.
Pros
Great on gas and very comfortable when making long trips. The back seat has a button allowing the seat to fold down for my cargo room if your hauling extra inside. The radio is Bluetooth and work great most of the time you have to speak clear. The back-up camera is superb, super clear and sensitive to objects that are close to the vehicle to detect.
Cons
The gas tank is small, so if you're going on a long trip, be prepared to fill up a lot on long road trips. Sometimes the radio does not recognize your voice, and you have to repeat yourself a lot on commands.
