We've had this vehicle for a little over 2 years now. We bought it with around 80,000 miles on it, and now it is just a bit over 97,000. So far, we've liked it quite a bit. We needed it because our family grew, and we couldn't fit everyone in our little Subaru Impreza anymore. It gets pretty decent gas mileage considering it's a V-6 with all-wheel drive, but the gas mileage does drop quite a bit in town verses on the highway. We've had a few mechanical/electrical problems with it, but thankfully, both were covered under an extended warranty that Ford had put out due to having so many of those issues with these vehicles. It was a little pricey, especially considering its mileage and age, but it is a pretty high-trim level, so it has a lot of bells and whistles too.
Story
We've had a pretty good time getting around in the snowy Montana winters with this vehicle. Here around the Billings area, we are prone to bad winters (with this winter being one of the worst) and this thing hasn't hiccupped at all getting around in the snow.
Pros
It has a nice trim package. Nice wheels, Ford Sync touchscreen navigation/entertainment system, leather seats, heated front seats, all-wheel drive and a back-up camera. Seems to be pretty solidly built, and it gets around great in our nasty Montana winters with it's all-wheel drive.
Cons
It was a fairly pricey vehicle to buy, even used. We bought it with around 80,000 miles on it, and it still ran us almost $18,000. We have had a few mechanical problems with it like mentioned above, but thankfully, both were covered under an extended warranty. The Ford Sync system went out first, which effectively disables most of the car, which is bad. You can't so much as listen to the radio if that thing goes out, let alone use navigation, the back-up camera, or much else. The HVAC controls won't even work without the Ford Sync. A year or so after that, the power brake booster wen... (more)

I love my ford edge. It is very roomy and just the right size to drive. There is nothing that I dislike about the vehicle. It has done well on many trips that I have taken it on. There have been no mechanical problems. It runs great. I have not had any mechanical problems with the vehicle. It has all the features that a person could need. It is missing the gps feature that I would like. Other than that the features are great. The hand free addition is great for emergencies when you need to answer a call while driving. It is one of the best vehicles I have owned. It drives great. It is a very economic vehicle. It is also family friendly.
Story
It was not a fun memory. However it is memorable. I accidentally backed into a light pole leaving the doctors office. The pole was lined up in the area between the windows and could not be seen. I then backed up turned the wheel and hit the pole base. Luckily it did not do a lot of damage.
Pros
The size of the vehicle. It is just right not to big and not to small. It has plenty of room for everyone and their things. It has heated seats. I love that! I has the hand free capabilities. This feature is great when you need it. I has controls on the steering wheel. This make is a lot easier to adjust everything. I has a cap less gas tank which is nice too. The cubby holes to store things are very easily reachable. The usb ports and extra plug in and charging areas is very convenient. I like the storage area under the back. It is good for spare tire and tools.
Cons
There are not very many negatives that I can say about the vehicle. I wish it had the GPS feature. This would make traveling easier. I would not have to worry about a portable GPS to have to tag along. There have been no problems or complaints about this vehicle.
