Overall, this car has exceeded my expectations, and continues to do so every time I drive it. You feel like you’re driving a quality sedan when you’re sat behind its wheel. There’s no rattles, and I have personally put 23,000 miles on the vehicle since purchasing it. I have the leather trim package, and one leather has stood up to my beating.
Story
One fun experience I had was taking it for a road trip down to the coast of the Gulf of Mexico.
Pros
The lighting inside and the overall look of the interior is one of my favorite features of the car. There are “mood” lights – small bulbs on either side of the center console that shine down on the floor and one in the second row as well. The color on these is changeable just with the push of a button. So cool! Also, the car is pretty peppy for a four door sedan. The handling is very nice, very practical layout and fuel efficient to boot!
Cons
I have had one issue with the car, which I had to take it into the dealer for. The vehicle would intermittently stall, sometimes at speeds of up to 40 miles per hour. They fixed the problem, and I haven’t had the issue since.

I was raised in a Ford family. My great grandfather was a Ford executive so there is a lot of allegiance with the brand. My parents have always owned Ford vehicles, and I inherited this car from them. I like the Ford Fusion, because it is simple and versatile. The car is compatible with my personal style, which is professional and understated. I can drive my Fusion to numerous places and feel like I fit in. There is a lot of space in this mid-size sedan. I can put the seats down to make room for things, such as my bike or boxes. I have moved across states with just this vehicle. I have to drive a lot of different cars for work. I think I prefer the Fusion because it is familiar. I know where the aux cord is and how to get my phone to play music through the speakers. Unlike some of the ... (more)
Story
One time it was so cold in Minnesota (-40 degrees) that the tires went flat and had to be filled. Don't know if that's fun, but it was definitely memorable!
Pros
The Fusion is incredibly reliable. At this point, the vehicle has upwards of 90,000 miles and no major issues. The speaker system and other interior features still function well. The only reasons I have had to take it in for maintenance are routine. I have no complaints in term of performance. Both the gas pedal and break are average when it comes to sensitivity. When my dad got a Toyota Prius he complained that that vehicle didn't accelerate as quickly as the Fusion. There are not a lot of extras to this vehicle, but it does not take away from the car. I really like the way the car looks.... (more)
Cons
In terms of negative, it is sometimes hard to judge how large the front and the back of the vehicle is. The front and the back are deceptively large, so it can be hard to calculate how far you can back up. I do like the way that the back and the front of the vehicle look. Although I prefer the black color, it does make for extreme heat when left out in the sun. Another negative is that the technology does not compare to what you could get on the current market. There is no rearview camera, which would help with parking or backing up. Additionally, the stereo does not have Bluetooth. I woul... (more)
