The vehicle I am reviewing is the 2013 Ford Fusion. This is the year they introduced the new body style which I love. It resembles slightly an Aston Martin exterior. I love this car and would recommend it to anyone. The full size of the sedan is perfect size. I travel and can fit all of my belongings in this car. It has driven me 50,000 miles in three years and has gotten me safely to all destinations. The one thing I dislike about this vehicle is the reliability. There have been several recalls where dealership time in the shop has been necessary. Also, the rear shocks went bad after three years of owning it. The vehicle's technology is nice. It tells you the percentage of oil and other mechanical numbers you might find helpful. The sound system is excellent in this vehicle... (more)
Story
One fun memorable story I have isn't from the particular location I am currently in, but living in the San Francisco Bay area was quite the experience in the Fusion. Living near Berkeley, we would drive through the crazy, winding hills surrounding. It was a rush and a bit scary driving up there at night, but the Fusion handled the steep inclines, the steep declines, and the super winding roa... (more)
Pros
There are many pros of the 2013 Ford Fusion SE. My favorite features of this vehicle are the ride itself, the comfort of the vehicle overall, and the interior look of the vehicle. This vehicle has driven over 50,000 miles while in my possession. It has been a smooth ride the entire time... except for that one time we got a flat tire. It doesn't need too much maintenance, and even if it's due, it drives great. It feels sporty. For only being a four cylinder, it feels like a six. It accelerates quickly, and the turbo boost is a fun effect. Considering its size and how smooth the ride... (more)
Cons
The top negative things about this car are reliability, gas mileage, and overall cost. I absolutely love this vehicle, but the one downside that keeps me from buying the same vehicle again would be the reliability. It's had multiple recalls and currently has two more as we speak. They've been weird recalls too. One is about the door latch, another is about a seat belt issue, and another is a recall for a coolant leak. It has been an inconvenient problem that's happened a couple of times and continues to happen. I did not know that Fords were unreliable and still am not sure if it's j... (more)

I love my Ford Fusion. Safety was big for me, and it scores high on the safety factor. The exterior body is sleek, and the interior feels the same. For only being a four-cylinder vehicle, it doesn't feel like it. The turbo really makes it feel like a six-cylinder. The leather interior is perfect, and all of the seats are super comfortable. The only downside so far has been a cracked coolant valve and having to replace the rear shocks at 50,000 miles. There seem to be a lot of recalls, and it has been in the shop multiple times. After the shocks were replaced, the drive ability has been great. Super smooth ride. The size is also perfect for someone that's five foot three inches. I don't have to strain to see over the steering wheel.
Story
I don't think I can ever get rid of this car—no matter the mechanical issues it gives me. For the past three years, it has taken me to 20 different states and has kept me safe. I, for the most part, can rely on it. It doesn't seem to mind the weather outside either, as it drives fine in all conditions.
Pros
The top positive things about this vehicle are safety, look, and feel. My favorite features are the Bluetooth abilities, heated seats, space, and comfort. I could actually sleep more comfortably in my car than anywhere else sometimes! Bluetooth makes it easy to stream music or text without having to be on the phone. As far as safety, it has scored high among other brands. Airbags surround the vehicle, and the alarm system works with either a pass code or you can set it by clicking your lock button twice. For just being a full-size car, the look reminds me of more expensive brands. I... (more)
Cons
Service issues are the top negative things about this vehicle. It's been in the shop multiple times for recalls. I needed to pass a smog check last year, and the check engine light came on. I had it looked at for an expensive price and had to replace a coolant valve in order to pass smog. After only 50,000 miles, the rear shocks were total garbage and had to be replaced. My breaks, however, lasted 60,000 miles, which surprised me. The gas gauge doesn't seem to be working properly, as well. Every time I fill up completely, it reads differently every time, even if I fill at the same ti... (more)
